Does anyone else find these videos really relaxing? - General

I really enjoy watching these sorts of videos in my spare time (I have a collection of these videos, most of which l came across accidentally, but can now come across some on purpose), and just find them really soothing and relaxing. What the main factors of these videos are to have a relaxing voice, rustling paper (I have been told this may be a trigger from the brain relating to getting presents, releasing hormones) in a certain way, or light static noise. So I was wondering if anyone else finds these videos relaxing or if it is just me. Feel free to post some of your own finds if you do.

I don't think any involving needles falls into the realm of what I'd consider "relaxing."

I see what you mean OP, i did feel it. There was this guy on YouTube with a thick southern accent making various tutorials on cooking and gardening related stuff. His voice was ridiculously calming, he even made an account on FP in response to his video being posted here. Somebody still got that? I feel like this is a parody thread about the user who found people opening packages to be relaxing and feel good.

Its pure genius

I don't have anything really specific that relaxes me. Not that I know of, at least. Generally, when I'm raging and want to calm down, I listen to music like this. I have the same thing. I can just chill out and get a weird but nice feeling in my stomach when watching these. There was a thread on this before that also had the paper gun video's in it if I remember correctly.

I know what you mean man, the amateur videos with lots of non needed voices and calm speak are relaxing.

The sound of paper rustling and packages opening is extremely soothing to me and I have no idea why.

I am the complete opposite, if all I hear is the rustling of the video camera getting moved and the camera man's heavy breathing it irritates me to no end.
