HAMDEN – An 88-woman was hospitalized Sunday after police said a raccoon followed her pet cat inside and attacked her after she mistakenly tried to pet it. Police said that the unidentified elderly woman let her pet cat inside her home through a sliding door at approximately 11 p.m. Sunday night when a raccoon followed behind. Police said the elderly woman mistook the raccoon for her cat and tried to pet it, but that the raccoon attacked her instead. Police said the raccoon bit the elderly woman on her elbow, hand, forearm, lip and chin. Police said the raccoon then charged two officers who arrived to the scene and was "euthanized" before it could cause any more damage.
http://www.courant.com/community/hamden/hc-hamden-raccoon-attack-0826-20140825,0,1952114.story "Euthanized"? I don't really see that as euthanization [editline]25th August 2014[/editline] Not gonna fix the title, don't wanna have to redo the OP
Had three of these fuckers attack my cat once. Three of them, standing around my cat mauling and hissing and making all kinds of unearthly sounds, taking turns biting at her. Ran up to them, screamed at em, one growled and lunged at me, so I kicked it as hard as I could, fucker went flying about ten feet, screamed at them and they all turned and started running away. Cat sprints off, didn't see her for three days. The cat's deaf, white hair blue eyes, so these things are vicious, they will attack anything that's weak, and probably because she was eating the cat food that they come on my porch for. Good thing he killed them, these raccoons are fucking pests.
When i read this it reminds me of that sears commercial.

I'VE GOT A PLAN
My great-grandmother once set out a bunch of cat food for all the cats that lived around her house (some domesticated, most feral, she kept them around to keep the mice down, country livin' and all), and that night she noticed only one of them was eating, the rest were all huddled off to the distance just staring at it. She walks outside and reaches down to pet it and mere inches away she notices the white stripe running down the middle of this "cat". Was a close call to be sure, skunks are usually not that bad but it might have had rabies.
One time I was at my ex-girlfriend's house and I was about to leave to head home, opened the door and there was a raccoon just chilling less than a foot away from the door I decided to throw a sock at him to try to get him to buzz off he looked at me after i threw the sock at him, grabbed the sock, and ran off up a tree ex still hasnt been able to get the sock back

Had a baby raccoon that didn't make it into the hidey hole with mom. Fed it cat food and gave it water so it wouldn't die before she came back for the little fella. After killing five or six of them, I walked back inside and had to re-watch the episode of Stargate Atlantis that was on because those noisy motherfuckers interrupted me. I was concerned I shot my cat on accident when he didn't show up for a few days, (I didn't remember him being present during the massacre) but I found him stuck underneath a bucket. Apparently they had chased him under there and Jukka (the cat) was too dumb to flip it over. :l
