NB - I am not against a military or police force as a general rule. I do take issue with the system that causes these services to be in places they have no business being and taking part in offensive operations when the role is supposed to be defensive. Even more so when the aggression is geared toward upholding illegitimate decrees set in place by non-representative government officials.
If someone were to kill my dog, I would probably rage no matter who it was. That's part of my family. The issue is not that the dog was shot - it is that the police should not have been there in the first place.
How long until a child is killed? For what? To enforce what is effectively a modern prohibition? At what cost, especially when there is enough empirical evidence to strongly suggest that government mandate is the primary cause of criminal elements and black markets.
As with an oversized and aggressive military, in order to justify a specialized police force, it's best to be utilized and show returns on actions before budget cuts occur. How many more households need to be shattered and shocked until the nation is living in fear and decides enough is enough? By the time the majority wakes up, it will be too late.
The police force acting in this manner is government-sanctioned terrorism - it can be called nothing else. Perpetuating a sense of fear toward anything that is a threat to the established institution is a documented progression toward totalitarianism.
The legal system is geared toward protection of its own institutions, including the police force. Barring absolutely egregious offenses that are provable by video or other undeniable evidence, there is no defense against official aggression toward citizens. Even then, there's no guarantee of restitution.
If you won't think for yourself, that ability will be denied you and you will deserve as much as you will have traded your freedom for an illusion of security.
The solution: get out before it's too late; the world isn't as bad as it's made out to be (the only really scary ones are the bankers and politicians).

I wish there was more coverage on this, like what happened to the task force that was sent out? What they did was wrong, against procedure, and in need of punishment by law. A search warrant isn't a licenses to kill or to destroy property. Also what happened to the family? Did they keep living there?

These things do happen but you must realize that there aren't just some guncrazed hicks who issue these search warrants.
There are some pretty bad criminals they do catch using this system and no matter how well though out the system may be there will always be collateral damage so to speak.

No to be honest i would not, i would prepare myself just in case it might attack me. If the dog was jumping at me trying to kill me. I would shoot it. All the dogs were doing was barking at them. Also aiming a gun at someone is considered already attacking someone. Your a dick if you would shoot the dogs that only bark.
