To be fair from what Iv seen most people thought that remain would win so they either voted leave as a piss-take or a protest vote and the rest just didn't bother showing up.

He is not exclusively to blame, but he is to blame.
He is the damn Enemy to most people, and he speaks for the 'Enemy' and he fucking failed to realise just how much people hate him and the Tories, (enemy being those with money).
He loaded the damn gun, handed it to the public who he and his cronies have been shitting over for the past 8 years and essentially said "Shoot me" fully believeing that no one had the balls to do it.
