http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIbpt1aDFqM&feature=plcp Depressing and interesting at the same time. When I first started watching it I got confused since it's hard to even understand them talk and I thought it might be in South Africa. Nope, Wales.
How fucking retarded do you have to be to even go near heroin.
How fucking retarded do you have to be to even go near heroin.
Try watching the video
I actually live around a 30 mins train ride from Swansea in an even worse shithole known as Barry. Honestly drug usage is terrible around here.
How fucking retarded do you have to be to even go near heroin.
"All out of weed, want some heroine ?" "YEAH TOTALLY" I guess like that ?
When you live in Britain you regularly see people like that, and it's shame really - you always get them asking you for money or drugs.
Try watching the video
I did.
North and South Wales are probably the worst places to visit in Wales because of drugs.
Swansea. What more needs to be said really?
well to be honest swansea's a fucking shithole. It's not an epidemic, it's just that swansea is a massive version of the "shit side of town"
I had a friend one time he smoked hash. And his dealer started putting heroin in the hash. At first he didn't know cause there both brown. He thought he had killer hash. then he got addicted to it and one day his dealler straight out told him what he did and he stabbed him and took all he had.
How fucking retarded do you have to be to even go near heroin.
You are fucking horrible, you have no idea what situation every heroin user in the world is in.
How fucking retarded do you have to be to even go near heroin.
you are an idiot.
Watched the whole thing. Fuck me I'm sad now.

Even though i've never personally known anyone who does heroin, whenever i'm out in town where I live I'll always see people with cocaine. Twice last week I got asked if I had any cards or anything for lining it up. Most of these people i'm talking about are much younger than me too
I live near Swansea, drug usage is terrible here, there are plenty of 14 year olds around that are already smoking cigarettes.
I couldn't watch it all, I didn't have the stomach for it. When one of them was about to inject in the alley, I just stopped the video. I feel for these people; they're simply born into these situations. Makes me think about the folk that actually try to help individuals like these get off the junk, those people are life changers - it's too bad there aren't enough willing, brave, and available people to help get these people out of this cycle.
It's just a never-ending cycle of shit.
i live there and i've seen a few of the people in that. theyre still like that.
Heroin really is a horrible drug, so glad that help is actually available for the people in the video but more should be done. When Amy was talking about how her mother whored her out to men who would beat and rape her so her mum could get £50 worth of heroin, that really got to me.
The best part is at 17:21. That's the best crackhead spartan kick ever. All in the name of a forgotten lighter
It's so odd watching people do it. I can't really understand what it's like to be addicted, but I guess it's probably harder than it looks to come off it. The fact that they openly admit they do it is quite scary.
Vice is a very interesting site for stuff like this, I thoroughly enjoy their videos, namely their North Korean one.
I actually live around a 30 mins train ride from Swansea in an even worse shithole known as Barry. Honestly drug usage is terrible around here.
Barry is grim, I live between Swansea and Cardiff.
Barry is grim, I live between Swansea and Cardiff.
my city has more drugs then yours !
I dont understand why this needs subs.
I dont understand why this needs subs.
eh, why not? Sure, could've had an option to turn it off, but they are from Wales so it's a bit hard to understand for most viewers [editline]16th July 2012[/editline] anyway. The documentary was fucking beautiful. Vice deserves more recognition
The only word I could think of after watching this was: "Classy"

Some guys up in the mission told me about it and they said it was the worst thing that ever happened to him. One of them, who was clean at the time, said that he felt like he was out of his body when ever he wasn't shooting up. [editline]16th July 2012[/editline]
How fucking retarded do you have to be to even go near heroin.
You are not a clever man. The vast majority of people who get addicted to heroin turned to it as a form of escapism. Heroin then complicates peoples lives further due to it's taboo regard and crippling effects which then encourages the user to keep the habit. By the time they have become aware of the cycle they are usually addicted.
This is the best Vice documentary I've seen to date.
