I'm fucking speechless!
How the fuck am I suppose to feel right now!?!?!
that is honestly a very powerful video
Just goes to show how fucked up our military really is.
That was depressing
Matt Berry gets around. Even when it's the most depressing shit ever.
Man, the US could use a campaign like this.
the dead action man always makes me want to vomit. That is a modern battle-ridden corpse, not pew-pew he dead. it's barely just guns anymore, it's trickery, bombs, and death everywhere you lurk.
This makes me scared for my friend. He's going to bootcamp in a couple of months.
It just ends up getting fucking worse as each segment comes on, I could barely stand to watch the last bit of it.
"Coffin sold separately"
one final kick in the stomach
I thought this was gonna be funny... I lost a friend in that shithole afghanistan, to an ied. He had a closed casket funeral.
:suicide:

The US has needed a campaign like this since after WWI. The US Government is Notorious for abandoning its vets.

Like hey remember that time WWI veterans marched on DC to complain about how their government abandoned them, and then Douglas MacArthur and George Patton rolled into them with tanks and infantry to get rid of them?

I'm so sorry for your loss. War is the worst for any sides.
Does the US not have a thing like the British legion?
Does the US not have a thing like the British legion?
We have American Legion which is good for Vets but gets pretty much no government support.

Got any info on this? Wouldn't mind reading into it.

Most armies need it IMO. Media overall needs a boot up its ass to actually create a dialogue about this stuff. You'd have thought after Vietnam there wouldn't be any excuse but somehow they just kept fucking up over and over.

Google "Bonus Army".

The US has several foundations like the Wounded Warrior project and the like that helps vets, but as far as I know it doesn't get much government funding and relies on donations. If we have a government run foundation they're doing a shit job. Military Benefits is also complete garbage, snubbing people for benefit pay who lost limbs and lost function in limbs. Pretty sad.

Honestly it was an issue prior to Vietnam; after Vietnam they called it PTSD, after WWII they called it Battle Fatigue, and after WWI they called it shell shock. During WWII, Patton slapped a man in an infirmary for having his nerves fried due to PTSD, he was angry at him because he had no physical wounds.
US soldiers have gotten very little help with mental disorders caused by war for an extremely long time now. They're often belittled for them as well.
So even the social campaigns are going for the 80's VHS fad now
Nice. I thought it was Matt Berry narrating and I was right.

war has never been just purely guns.
