I want to develop a slightly better body - I'm not looking for bulging muscles, just a slightly sexier body. I want to give my girlfriend something to shlick over :v:
Thing is - I've got a fast metabolism and if I was black you could stick me on an OXFAM advert. I've looked up core exercises online and then I remembered I'm a member of Facepunch and figured I'd ask you guys. Here's some extra information:
+ I don't have a huge budget for this, if any at all.
+ I will remember to stick with it, but I would probably need some kind of extra motivation to push me all the way.
+ I'm not a total skinny basement dweller - but I'm not far off. You could probably play my ribs like a xylophone given the effort.
+ I haven't followed an exercises routine of any form before, merely something with my father which only lasted a few weeks when I was like, 8 or some shit
I probably look like a wishful weak idiot, but thanks for any advice you can give me :)

I understood the first two sentences :v:
Most of the 5x5 workouts I can find involve bench pressing - I don't have the equipment (or gym membership) for that :v:
what do u got?
Space, access to some varied weights occasionally, a shitty little weight which is like, 5kg? I don't know. It's been lying around for years. I have friends who hit the gym but they're not on any schedule.

also, barbarian, how many times a day/sessions or whatever should I do those positions? I've done them before on another failed whim of attempted excercise and I never knew how many times to do them - I knew to hold the position for a minute or so each time
What about the upper back
Pull ups.
I was just giving him core exercises and compound ones but for upper back bent over row w barbell/ pull ups would be adequate if performed correctly
