The move followed the resignation of all opposition MPs from parliament on Sunday, and came as protesters prepared to march on Government House. Ms Yingluck won elections in 2011. But the protesters allege her government is controlled by her brother, ousted leader Thaksin Shinawatra, and want her to resign.
Isn't this bad for democracy? Dissolving the parliament?
Will this be good for thailand and stabilize the situation?
We hope so
I was just listening to NPR and they were saying that there are many who are loyal to the party outside of Bangkok, and because of that, she may very well be reelected.
I feel sorry for her. She wanted to put the Red-Yellow conflict to rest but her amnesty bill got everyone ultra mad instead. Sorry Generals and Thaksin, no Amnesty for you
