Thread Music Everyone knows what a Ouija Board is. A piece of cardboard from Parker bros that helps you communicates with the dead by using your body as a medium to move a small pointer to letters. Pretty intense shit, lets take a look at these. Official Instructions Ouija board rule number 1 – You should never play with the Ouija board alone, this is for your safety both physically and mentally. Ouija board experiences are occasionally extreme and should this occur you will need someone with which to support you, both during and after the occurrence. Ouija board rule number 2 – Do not allow the planchette to count down through the numbers or backwards through the alphabet, to allow it to do so could lead to the demon/ghost/entity escaping from the Ouija board (and leave it hanging around). Ouija board rule number 3 – Always place a silver coin (or other silver item) upon the Ouija board before playing. Silver is known for its power to repel evil energies, ‘silver catches the light and repels the darkness’. Ouija board rule number 4 – Never mention ‘God’, it is generally believed that all entities contacted through the Ouija board are ‘evil’ in nature (even those that at first appear to be good or even seem to be related to the player), The Demons or spirits channelled through the Ouija board are more than aware of their lack of power in the face of ‘God’ and are both fearful and enraged by this knowledge. Ouija board rule number 5 – Always say ‘goodbye’, this is essentially the mechanism by which ‘you’ the Ouija board user close a session and turn the Ouija board off. Failure to close the Ouija board session by saying ‘goodbye’ may result in the contacted entity remaining present long after you have finished playing (and getting up to all kinds of mischief). -http://www.shopoflittlehorrors.com/ouija_board_rules_how_to_Ouija_board_instructions.htm Experiences Crazy lonely guy or maybe perfectly sane So is it real or not?
I believe you should only use it if you're really comfortable with using one, and you can approach it with critical thinking, in a calm, rational manner and a sense of humor - doesn't mean a ridiculous mocking attitude, just that you have the ability to roll your eyes at the melodramatic stuff people tend to get, without getting upset or swept up in the emotion the other people tend to fall prey to. While I don't personally think there is anything paranormal to them, or if there is, there is no "outside" paranormal agent, I do believe they can cause stress and anxiety and short to medium term emotional effects if people start connecting bad things that happen in life with "that time I used the board". Some people should NOT use the board because it IS dangerous - but because of the reasons I gave, not because of portals to hell or some misty form giving them astral noogies while they're sleeping.

Yes they do work, but you have to be open to get the best or I should say worse result. Your energy will draw the spirits through. Note here that only lower level entities need to use this method to communicate. They start by telling you things you want to hear then they show you their true colours by telling lies which can cause discord in certain members. If you're really unlucky you'll have an entity come through and attach itself to your house (don't think I'll do it elsewhere then) or to YOU instead. Think about it, everyone can write a few words but how many people could write a chapter, 2 chapters, a book. This works the same way the results depend on your level of psychic ability. I wish someone had told me all this before I ever used one not after I had an entity attach itself to our house, luckily I was able to remove it as I was quite strong psychically then, but I had to give it all away and call on God and Arch Angel Gabriel to free us from this thing. I knew all the things to do and backed by the good guys I was a lucky one. There are some horror stories out there.
I personally tried one alone, high as fuck of course. I made a paper redition of these famed bourds and even lit candles around me to get an atmosphere going. I starting by just waiting for something to happen, to asking things, to even thinking questions (maybe they could read my mind). All to no effect, most movement i got was flickering in the candles. Maybe because of i had a piece of paper or maybe its not real. My first experence was bunk. Any believers on facepunch
I once used a ouija board alone. The ghost of Micheal Jackson visited me.
Sometimes it work, Sometime it doesn't IT all depends on the person though.
i was watching a show today that had the characters playing with a ouija board
And the area.
they are toys made by hasbro or some shit. even if your dumb friends say"omg im not moving it" therei s probably a subconscious expectation for something spooky to happen. it's all a bunch of bullshit to make money.
ouija boards get you laid
This thread belongs in the Bullshit section.

I guess you've never heard of the ideomotor effect.

This is the exact same thing as dowsing [editline]asd[/editline] And facilitated communication
Penn and teller videos
Exactly this.
It's fun to move the thing around when youre with other people.
i used one and i was visited by adolph hitler. really weird visit, but he's a nice gentleman and we had dinner together, my mom thought he was a charming man
I like how the OP listed experiences and is it real or not with quotes and videos only from people who think it's real :v:
For my experience , Nothing happened, just retarded messages.
i only talk 2 god
they contain demons, why would I want one.
These things are creepy as hell, real or not. I don't care what spirits may or may not be in my home, all I know is if you don't talk to them, no need for them to talk to you. Short version: Leave the spirits alone.
As bullshit as they are I'd still be pretty freaked to be in a darkened room with one
I did this a while I ago. I moved the piece to spell "ur a faget" and we all had a good laugh.
I once got bought a cheap ouija board for a Halloween party, the board was made of cardboard and the planchette was this big plastic thing on three raised legs with little balls of felt on the bottom. Ignoring the fact that despite my best attempts to thoroughly freak out all the participants beforehand most of the people using the board were fairly skeptical, we couldn't get the thing to work at all because the planchette was nowhere near slippery enough to catch up on even our largest subconscious movements.
Ha. Rule number one is "Don't play Ouija alone" [editline]10th October 2011[/editline] I remember this guy from Elementary school that made a Ouija out of a hard cardboard cover and a coin
I played with this. We kept on trying to push the damn thing until my hands slipped loose and it got rammed into my crotch.
Get a group of friends, or do it alone. Set up a live stream of you/friends messing with the ouija board. Why has no one done this yet?
ouija board is real and my dad has bigger muscles than you dad
Fucking ouija boards freak me out.
get a pocketwatch (or some other pendulum) and hold it in front of your face with about 8 inches of chain from your hand to the watch. imagine every force within the room moving the watch from side to side, back and forth. transfer all of your mental energy into moving that watch. imagine your only objective in life is to get the pocketwatch to move side to side using only your mind via harnessing all the energy in the room. it will start moving even though you don't think you're doing it. it's called the ideomotor effect. the same thing happens with ouija boards.
If spirits are real and almost invariably evil and manipulative, how come the ones that do get out don't convince people to let other ones out? If spirits existed, they'd be here by now. People are stupid like that. Give us a gate to hell and a console to open it, and someone will spill their coffee on it and usher forth the apocalypse.
