Why am i IP banned? - General

Hmm. Could it be that you were EXTREMELY unlucky and your IP changed to the IP of someone perma banned? (I am not even sure if that can happen though)

Log in with a proxy, then turn it off.

Any Facepunch ban will display that message. Went into effect a while ago, it's to prevent people from making or using alt accounts.

Just email [email]forums@facepunch.com[/email] Before I get "Late" ratings, remember that I am reiterating the point. Also, you were likely IP Banned for doing something that is against the rules of the forum or someone with the same IP as you has attempted to connect to a perma'banned account.

No, he has a [B]dynamic IP[/B] and someone from the same IP pool got banned on FP. If reconnecting your router does not provide you with a new IP, just disconnect, leave it disconnected for a while and reconnect then. Disconnecting and reconnecting might not be necessary but do that to be sure.
