Hello,
So... yeah some A$$ is going around stealing peoples accounts via tricking them into thinking a False address to steam is legit
He has done this by creating a web address created by a hosting site that claims to be a steam login page and in the chat window he sais that this is a "LOL OMFG LMFAO LOOK AT THIS link" that asks you to log in.
I have sent Helping tickets and all to steams support page and i still havent gotten a reply. I posted it with all credentials and proof of purchaces
Think i will get my account back?... :\

Who the hell actually falls for those? :bravo:
You will when they finally reply to you. Probably 3-5 days before they usually respond.
And that is still going around? Had someone try that to me over a month ago but it was obvious as I never spoke to the person who sent me it.

If it really is your birthday then happy birthday.

Well believe it or not its my birthday today.
I Really did not see something like that coming
This is why people should read instead of just randomly clicking a link.
What the hell dude, how do you fall for something like that.
How the fuck do you fall for this crap? Anyways it should take 2-5 days
.... wow.
Seriously, i do not see HOW people can fall for something SO OBVIOUS.
Hahahaha you fell for a phishing scam.
Really, people still fall for those? All it takes is a little common sense to not click on any links sent by people who you don't know.

Happy 12th birthday.
Steam's form of natural selection, I guess?
Uhh good job?
I was approached by a scammer recently.
It was the most obvious thing ever, I just got a message saying "you need to verify your account" and then there was a link and he said "type your username and password here"
Sounds like what happened to you, and what's been done a million times
You should have seen it coming
Yeah but it was one of My Really good friends and I didnt expect him to do this.
your friend was hacked also
Yeah I thought so :(

my mistake :worship:
you deserve it for falling for that. it would take a special type of idiot to fall for that
Anybody who's stupid enough to just give away their password so easily DESERVES to get their account stolen.
You deserved it. How many times do people have to fall for this sort of thing before you realise that you don't log into random/suspicious sites?
dumbass

Hey, when/if you get your account back you should PM me your username and password. I can go in to your account and clean up any damage he did. :smug:
