The recoil feels... different from 1.6 and source, not necessarily a bad thing just means you have to relearn the spread on all of the guns.
Generally Counterstrike games have lots of recoil as there is no ADS option ( Aim down sights ). So if you're coming from CoD or BF3 and haven't played any of the counter strike franchises the game is going to be A LOT harder for you.

It was actually my cousin that got the invite
They gave him TWO keys, so I guess if you get an invite from valve or what ever, they want you to invite someone else.

If you just signed up, your best bet would be to buy into the beta with cash or TF2 keys ( that's how I got mine ). A bunch of invites just went out so the prices are dropping atm. That or you could wait.
The song is The Lucky One by Celldweller, but honestly the only part of the song I like is the part I used in the video lol..
Beta applications are weird. I got my invite but I didn't even get a notice or an extra key to gift anyone from it; just, spontaneously there in my Library last friday. v:v:v
Gotta say, though - playing the beta's made me realize that I still suck at Counter-Strike as much as I always have.
Looks a lot better than the first video they showed. The guns looked terribly out of place.
I sent in a survey like a month and a half ago, still no beta key.
