"Signature" This is an electro house track that I'm most proud of out of all the tracks I've ever made. "Walk The Plank" This is a french house track I'm really pleased with because of the feedback it's received in the past So yeah, I'd love to hear some feedback, and if it didn't hurt, maybe some promotion for my soundcloud so I could perhaps get noticed?
You really need to start finding your own style. Yes everyone will realise you got that idea from Mord Fustang. Signature is a pretty cool track but those hihats are super annoying. Also the drop was really impactless. Cool synths though. Also you need to learn some eqing, these tracks sound really bunched up and unclean [editline]15th April 2012[/editline] The french house thing is cool but it could be a bit more varied imo
Yes everyone will realise you got that idea from Mord Fustang.
The name? Well, I actually chose it because I thought the whole vehicle-first-letter invert fad was pretty funny. But regarding your actual feedback, I thank you alot for that, I'll try to sort out the EQ'ing alot more now. [editline]15th April 2012[/editline] I'll definitely change my alias though, if it stops anyone from thinking I'm copying.
they are both not available

I quite like em :D here's my thoughts... 'Walk the plank' is pretty cool, but it seems to have a little clipping issue going on. I think this is happenning when you're using the cut-off filter, perhaps you've got too much resonance or you're boosting some low freqnecies too much in the filter effect? I really liked Signature when it got going at about 1:47, but up till then it felt a bit empty and for me it took a bit long to get going. It feels like you could probably either cut your 1:30 intro down to half that length or get more going on in there Liking the new song! It got going straight away so I was paying attention off the bat. I thought the white noise build-ups sounded a tiny bit odd but maybe thats just me...

For walk the plank, I'm really pissed with my self because I discovered you could just use an EQ preset as an enveloped filter cutoff, without clipping, and to be honest it sounds no different. But thank you for defining that issue for me. For signature, it was a bit of a pain in the ass because I was at some point going to release it on beatport, but was told to extend it from it's previous duration (2:49) to something beyond 5-6 minutes. I found it as a challenge, it's extremely hard to extend such a short song without making it sound repetitive. But thank you. As to my new song, I really agree with you, the filtered white noise sounds pretty awful, and in my opinion is getting really overused in the EDM scene. So I'm gonna use some other method of accentuating the drop. Thanks for you feedback.
