• I have a serious health question.

I've done alot of research, and most of my findings were either that it will kill me, or it will do absolutely no damage at all. Basic logic tells me that this is not true, everything will hurt you if you do it too much, but I also know that it isn't the evil plant its been made out to be. So here is my question, if I smoke a single bowl every night through a glass piece, which I have been doing for about the past 3 weeks, what potential negative health affects could I experience? What kind of damage am I doing to my lungs? Will I get bored with sobriety? I want someone that smokes regularly to help me out. Please no anti-drug noise and no blind praise either.
Isn't smokng a bowl every day a little expensive? Anyway, I don't envision any horrible health effects, but it's going to get old after a while.
You won't get health issues from smoking one bowl a day. None at all. In super high me when the comedian was high all day every day for 30 days, his lung capacity only went down to 98%. So don't worry because you don't smoke anywhere near that.
Ive been smoking quantities of pot daily for the past 4 or so years and I haven't had any real bad health effects and I also smoke cigs.
Well I guess it would hurt you, through smoke inhalation. But it would be so miniscule it wouldn't matter
You can smoke a quarter every day and the only damaging effect would be your coordination. I would suggest eating it though if you're doing that much a day. Smoking a bowl a day would be fine.
I would take a day or two off, maybe smoke every other day or so. 1) Saves you money, a bowl a day is gonna get nasty expensive... 2) Your tolerance is probably going to build up after a bowl every night, so let it take a break, so you'll get even higher next time you toke it up.
Dude, I've been smoking several bowls a day for the past like month (summer break =P) and before that like once a day and less during the weekday but at night I would as well. And personally I'll tell you the way its affected me: Negative: -I'm slightly slower but 2 days later If I don't smoke Im back to normal. -I sometimes look for something and honestly dont see it, then someone points it out and all of a sudden its there, its wierd.... -I sometimes stumble over my words but I've been doing it less now. -Reduced lung capacity: Like anything being smoked it will reduce your lung capacity (you can get it back by not smoking for like a week and running a few times. (Mind you almost all these go away within a week so don't worry so much) Now the Positive: Im more intuitive Im more creative I don't bitch as much about doing medial shit cause w/e I don't care and its great. I'm more socially headstrong that I was before. I can relate to people so easily I can think easier (Like just imagining things and inventing things in my head) Life is generally better.
You'll be fine, but try smoking more than one. You'll have more fun.
lol. smoking grams everyday hasn't harmed me. Although i'm alot dumber and can't remember anything anymore
Don't worry, you're not crazy unless someone's following you.
Nothing bad is going to happen if you're responsible and yes, sobriety is fucking boring
^ I'd like to vouch for that statement. FUCKING BORING UGHGHGHG.

On average they tend to smoke 3 sticks to a pack a day (and some going beyond that). Over several months time this can become very harmful to the lungs- but of course we know this. So let's look at smoking a bowl every night. You are smoking ONCE every night and little more outside the occasional exception. If you're using a screen in the glass pipe, you're even better off. Taking that into consideration you aren't doing the worst you can to your lungs, but you certainly are putting some wear and tear. Negative effects you may experience is a decrease in lung capacity (very small for just 1 bowl a night), and should you begin to smoke larger ammounts a cough could develop with a sore throat, wheezing, etc. I've been smoking since January (I blame the depression and lack of stuff to do this summer) about anywhere from two to five bowls over the course of the day. I can still run, work, and function but I have experienced a shotgun effect to my short-term memory and overall lung capacity. Now- while I don't forget everything all the time- I have certainly noticed a decrease in its functionality. I've also developed a slightly sore throat recently (but that's due to heavy party smokage) and last but not least is the lack of that "high" feeling, in essence... I don't get as high now. The good news is with college starting up again I'll be putting down the pipe until the next seasonal break and with such the negative effects i've developed will go away. The sore throat and occasional cough will disappear, my memory will restore itself to clarity, and after a few months of being clean- Smoking again will knock me off my feet like it did back in January when I hadn't smoked for a while. Hope that helps.
Eh, I wouldn't be able to do that. I used to smoke like every day, but my tolerance builds up very easy. I'd have to space my smoking sessions a day apart to feel any kind of effect, and it would take me three or more bowls to get high. If I smoked a second time in one day I wouldn't feel it. I got oxycodone a while ago for surgery. First time taking, felt really good, second and the rest, didn't feel anything.
well I would usually smoke a bowl at night to get good sleep, the negative health effects....well the only I can think of is your lungs, smoking anything overall damages your lungs, just keep your health up, running, swimming, are some things you might want to take up if you don't want your lungs to suck. There are some negative psychological effects, the next morning you are in a daze, or relaxed as I like to call it, if you are a heavy pot smoker, your personality can go to shit, but it comes back after like 2 days of being sober.
