• Losing weight for no reason

So.. I'm starting to get a little worried here. I've been losing weight like a fucking maniac (in my opinion.) And I never had any weight to lose from the beginning! It all started before christmas, I checked how much I weighed. 72Kg. (72 kg = 158.4 lbs) The first of january I weighed 64Kg. (64 kg = 140.8 lbs) And now when I weighed myself today, I'm damn close to 59Kg. (59 kg = 129.8 lbs) TL:DR. I went from 72kg to 59kg by doing nothing. To be noted, I'm 1.75M tall.. Or short, however you would want to put it so I suppose I wasn't in an optimal shape when I weighed 72kg, but I was far from fat. At the moment, I got a fucking hour-glass figure, practically no stomach at all, I recently found out what love handles are and... I got none, none at all, But I look healthy! And I feel fine! So what should we discuss... Has anyone here ever experienced something similar? When I was younger I used to go up and down about 5-7Kg depending on what time of the year, but now I'm just losing (I think It's starting to stop though.. I hope so.)
Maybe you are a closet anorexic?
Cancer. Go to the doctor
My first reaction was "lucky you" then when I saw 72 kg to 59 kg I thought "not so lucky" You should see doctor.
I've had a similar thing happen over the past 6 months. Gone from from 68kg to 58kg. I put it down to my increased coffee intake and working mode hours at work. Sometimes stuff like this just happens, but if you're really worried, then see a doctor.
I'm afraid you'll have to cut your penis off.
I would go to a doctor
There's a black hole inside you, you have to pry it out with a pair of hedge clippers.
Oh come on, don't tell me I have to visit the doctor. Mainly because I've visited the school nurse and she said "It's perfectly normal." I suppose her opinion is as good as a doctor?

Holy crap. That is alot. Go to the doctor, duuurr.
I'm pretty sure you're too thin for your height. Try to find any problems in your current routine that may cause you to either lose too much weight or not gain enough weight.
I wouldn't mind losing a stone - give me whatever you have. <3 But seriously the posters above are all right you should be going to a doctor not a school nurse.
I'd definitely go to a doctor. That's a massive loss and you shouldn't just "meh" it. It could be serious, it could be nothing. But it's an unnecessary risk.
That's not bad. My little brother is a little taller than you and weighs a lot less than that, he doesn't look super skinny either. But Losing that much weight, that fast, hmmm...
Im about the same size as you and weight the same. I was at the doctor, but he said I'm completly fine. However if you've lost so much weight during this period of time it could be either you have measured it wrong or you dry out. Doctor will tell ya.
Thanks for the concern everyone! But I don't really see the need for it, I'm fine, If I ever experience problems as in loss in stamina, tiredom, problem sleeping etc etc I'll visit the doctor but as it is, I don't feel the need. I feel fine, I'm happier than ever, my life is in perfect shape. So.. Anyone feel like sharing their similar story? I doubt I'm the only one.
You probably just an infestation of tape worms, nothing to worry about.
tapeworm....

Propably a parasite, tapeworm to be exact.
:c00lbert:
I'm around 175 cm's, and i haven't gained weight in three years. I weigh 50kg's, it's not necessarily unusual, or dangerous.
tapeworm....
If you're a male I'd suggest starting to bulk up a bit, that'd put on weight... exercise can't be bad for you whether you are underweight or not.

Losing weight extremely fast can be contributed to stress, but this is highly unlikely. It's also a symptom of both diabetes and cancer. GO TO A DOCTOR. I don't care what your school nurse said; shes not a Pathologist.
Stop complaining, I've been stuck at a weight of 54kg since I was 13
You probably just an infestation of tape worms, nothing to worry about.
+1 for optimism!
I'm around 175 cm's, and i haven't gained weight in three years. I weigh 50kg's, it's not necessarily unusual, or dangerous.
Nice to hear! Sidenote, pretty much wherever I go I either run or jogg.. Or use a bike. Why I doubt this is relevant is because I've always done this, walking is fucking boring.. The destination is my goal, not the trip itself. (Which Is why I run.)

Propably a parasite, tapeworm to be exact.

So like.. This weekend or monday I'm getting shoes and I've allready made sure my mate is up for my challenge, whenever I want to go jogging / running he has to come along and vice versa.
If you're a male I'd suggest starting to bulk up a bit, that'd put on weight... exercise can't be bad for you whether you are underweight or not.
This summer I'm gonna have alot of time on my hands until I start studying at Universe so yes, I will start bulking up some.
Just doing exercise won't help. It's pretty simple actually: Make sure your calorie intake is more than your usage and you will gain weight. How are your eating habits? I suppose her opinion is as good as a doctor?
I wouldn't trust a school nurse.

[editline]06:02PM[/editline] I wouldn't trust a school nurse.
I always eat breakfast, I try to eat something every third hour like an apple or such. 3 meals a day, breakfast, lunch, dinner. I usually eat until I'm full. Sidenote, I can be very sloppy when I'm alone, as in forgetting to eat and such, I rarely feel hunger unless I'm so hungry it hurts a little. And seriously people, by saying that you wouldn't trust a school nurse or that I should visit a doctor is putting yourself OVER her. Who has education? Do you honestly think she wouldn't have considdered tape worm? It's probably high on the list of reason to suddenly loose weight.
