i love getting the entire plot of a movie in a trailer
plus i dont like themes about ai and technology and "playing god" being a bad thing

Not necessarily, but if that was the case then make a different movie then. Truthfully, I wouldn't mind seeing a realistic sci-fi movie about something like this, without the "HES TAKING OVER THE WRLD" crap in it.
Looks like I don't need to see the movie now, I know what happens! (Pretty much)
