Donald Trump says he is "100%" willing to speak under oath about his conversations with ex-FBI chief James Comey
BBC Breaking, so this is all there was. Here we go bois.
I bet he lies and goes down
I hope he brings up his electoral college results and how he beat Hillary as he goes off on an aimless ramble after nine words into an answer.
Oh boy, tough call here, guys, who do we trust? The guy who served as a FBI director under 2 presidents. Or the guy who lied about the size of his inauguration crowd.
gonna be entertaining that's for sure
You know what, Donald? Fine. Do it.
What generally happens after someone contradicts something someone else said under oath, while under oath?
What generally happens after someone contradicts something someone else said under oath, while under oath?
Corroboration. Phone records, accounts, with special investigator Muller. Comey is straight as an arrow.
here's hoping this isn't just more bluster and he actually goes through with it and fucks himself but how many times has he fucking said "I'll see you in court!!!" and then immediately given up and settled behind closed doors
Can you imagine how pissed his lawyer is right now
hold onto your fillings. cos it's gonna get fuckin lairy
I hope he brings up his electoral college results and how he beat Hillary as he goes off on an aimless ramble after nine words into an answer.
imagine a man being asked what ice cream he likes 9 words in he starts ranting about the political structure of Antarctica and its leader Saint Nick, repeating himself every 5 seconds and randomly talking about his accomplishments
Okay, I said in another thread this is starting to feel a lot like House of Cards but this is really starting to feel like House of Cards. Anyway - do it. [editline]9th June 2017[/editline]
"I'll tell you something about that maybe sometime in the very near future," he said on Friday. "I'll tell you about it over a short period of time. I'm not hinting at anything."
... but you did though.
You won't. No balls.
You forget jumping to random irrelevant subjects. Something that has become more rare to see because he now uses the teleprompters he promised not to use.
Now I really hope he speaks under oath in front of the Senate, if only to see him go off on tangents and having the chairman shut him down. It would piss him off so much.
I bet he lies and goes down
Even if he lied under oath while eating a living person and setting himself on fire, republicans would only be slightly concerned. Plus I'm putting my chips on him not doing it considering he pulled out of the Sanders debate and seems scared in general of scrutiny.
I hope he brings up his electoral college results and how he beat Hillary as he goes off on an aimless ramble after nine words into an answer.
Is it possible for members of the hearing to ask him "irrelevant" questions like about the electoral college numbers while under oath just to trip him up? If nothing else it'd be wonderful to make him admit he's full of shit. [editline]9th June 2017[/editline]
When asked about whether he had recordings of his conversations with Mr Comey, which he has previously suggested, the president said he would address it at a later date.
How about just yes or no? Anyone who defends this is retarded, my God.
Do it fam, pull the trigger.
Hope the committee takes up Trumps offer and officially asks him to testify.
Do it fam, pull the trigger.
hard to pull the trigger with no balls and tiny baby hands
* but he has something else to do that day, plus LOOK OVER THERE ITS HILLARY CLINTON! trump will never put himself in an adversarial role in congress, though itd be hard to even take it seriously since the republicans there would be tripping over themselves to stroke his ego
What are the requirements for the committee to subpoena someone? Could the Republican half block it?
And then it's McCain's turn to ask a question, and we get stuck in a spiral of non-sequiturs and lapses of logic
He can't say two sentences without lying through his teeth. Do it.
His aides probably just shat themselves when hearing about this.
If I were Trump's lawyers I probably would have fainted or had a stroke hearing that
What are the Vegas odds on this ending up like his debate with Bernie?
Oh, man. Comey agreeing to testify under oath was clearly baiting Trump. Trump took the bait so hard he's currently deepthroating the fishing rod, further confirming my long-held belief that the President is incapable of controlling himself. So here's my subsequent prediction, working off that assumption. IF Trump does in fact testify under oath, before the intelligence committee and subject to the same bipartisan scrutiny that Comey was, he will be incapable of controlling himself once more and lie his ass off. It'll draw attention in the most public way possible to Trump's biggest failing: His lack of honesty and integrity. The Republicans or the White House, being spineless cowards, will largely attempt to pass it off thus: "Whose word holds more weight? A disgraced former FBI director, or the President of the United States?" This will, naturally, backfire horribly.
FUCKING DO IT YOU PUSSY
he's going to be like "I would totally do it, but my people say I have no need to do it" after his bluff gets called
