the sort-of sequel to Max Landis' "The Death and Return of Superman" taking a look at the world of wrestling by focussing on the career of Triple H, with a bunch of celebrity cameos and a cast of Hot Babes as the wrestlers
I seriously wasn't expecting all of those celebrities to be in this. The ending perfectly explains why I fucking love Wrestling.
Met Landis a couple years ago. He's a cool dude
Wow, what a great video that was. Says everything it needed to say in the span of 24 minutes.
Should have tracked Austin instead, still great though.
Should have tracked Austin instead, still great though.
It works with Trip more because he's very overlooked, A lot of people don't notice his efforts because the guy's still in the company and on TV at almost every show and I think a big part of this video is realizing Triple H's story of never actually being consistently incredibly over, he'll always be Triple H, people will always go 'Hey cool, Triple H' whereas with Austin and the Rock people mark the fuck out everywhere.
I grew up down the street from Triple H My oldest brother went to high school with him I think This is interesting to me since I did watch wrestling for a period of time, mainly for those crazy ladder tables and chairs matches
Now I really want to watch some wrestling.
Now I really want to watch some wrestling.
RAW is on, right now.
Dat Shockmaster reference.
The "it's fake" argument is the most bogus cop-out reason to not enjoy wrestling. Why the fuck should that matter?

You had plenty of kids believing that wrestlers were like Santa, both real, but the ones I'm talking about were full on adults who blend into crowds except when they talk about wrestling. Yes, even when people died they still believed in everything happened was real.

It's possible to still enjoy it and be passionate about it with that knowledge. Most of the adults that do watch wrestling now mostly want to see good matches and storylines unfold, as shite as they can be at times. It's mostly little kids now who believe, but why do people always feel the need to ruin the fun by saying "well you know he isn't really a deadman. that'd just be silly." It's on par with telling them that Santa doesn't exist. They're just children. Let them enjoy the spectacle, because sooner or later, they're bound to find out. It's better that they take it all in at that age so they can have fonder memories of it later. It's really great escapism.
Oh shit, that other dude with Seth was Culkin?
yeah :( I wish him the best.
Macauley, Josh Peck, Haley Joel Osment, this guy knows fucking everyone
culkin still looking like a methhead.
Max Landis is a cool guy. He wrote Chronicle, which I found to be pretty darn entertaining if a bit cheesy at times.
