There are a whole bunch of /x/philes freaking out over this frequency right now. It's morse code, but half of them can't understand it, and the others don't know morse. So does anyone here know what the hell is going on?

Why the hell would the aliens know Morse code? That's as much of a terrestrial language as English or Spanish or any other language.

Well, according to the guy that said that aliens would be visiting they have been observing us. Don't you think one of them would have picked up on our language? Plus morse code is pretty universal. Most people know Morse code.
Just because they can't understand it doesn't mean it's aliens. I mean, as long as some of the code is understandable to them then it's not going to be aliens. Probably isn't anything special ether way.

We've been observing whales for decades, do we know their communication methods? Let's try pumping morse code into the ocean, maybe we'll get a response. Morse is universal on earth. It was made by humanity. For all we know an alien race could communicate by some outlandish crazy unimaginable way that humans can't even comprehend nor understand. We might as well be bears roaring about in the woods because that's about how it would sound to them.

First off, we are talking about hyper intelligent beings here, observing us. And, we are much more advanced when it comes to communication then a fucking whale.

Turn up the bandwidth to AM. If you find something strange mess around with the bandwidth because some really creepy sounds can turn out to just be music or something.
Example : 530.96 kHz at AM. Can someone tell me what language that music is in?
