Been doing it for years, late
The clone's life is gonna suck, because everyone will know him, and a lot will respond to it wrong.
lets clone hitler!
Definitely an interesting topic. I hope we do eventually come to a day where we can successfully clone a human being.
Definitely an interesting topic. I hope we do eventually come to a day where we can successfully clone a human being.
did you even watch the video?
I don't know how to feel about this.
Definitely an interesting topic. I hope we do eventually come to a day where we can successfully clone a human being.
Then you aren't thinking right. Don't you realize how bad this would be?
lets clone hitler!
Bam
Why is cloning such a bad thing?
If we start cloning humans, the slavary trade will be up and running once again.
If we start cloning humans, the slavary trade will be up and running once again.
Too bad the clones cost more than normal human. You need think the cloning costs and such, when having baby in normal way doesn't have any costs before it is born. Besides, do you really think slavery stopped completely at some point? It's still up and running in africa.
Why is cloning such a bad thing?
If you saw Star Wars Episode 2 you'd understand
Why is cloning such a bad thing?
- For the Religious (Don't argue over this) it's like "playing god" (Creating other humans, making copies in a way) - Cloning a human is a very difficult process, especially when it comes to the brain. - If someone is successfully cloned, the clone would not be treated humanely if discovered to be a clone. - A clone (Even if "perfect") would not be able to live as long as the original subject. Longevity/life-span reduced dramatically. (Think of Blade Runner, and how Replicants were only given 4-year life spans and would die on their own. This limit on life would prevent the Replicants from producing any sort of grasp on understand emotions.) - A clone would be seen not as a human, but a product.
Would be cool if all the embryos met up when they were like 16
If we start cloning humans, the slavary trade will be up and running once again.
Yeah, no. People like yourself and other people with ethics engrained in their heart and soul are the reason human advancement is at the slow pace it is at. If cloning research(note: the term cloning does not imply generation of a full being, don't be ignorant) was permitted to a point where it could be perfected it would be simply another technology available for people in dire need. Why outlaw and turn a technology into a taboo before it's even been given proper study? Quite the nice guilty until proven innocent deal.
If you are going to clone, you better get it right, these are people's lives.
Wait they take a skin cell nucleus (48 chromosomes) and a egg nucleus (23 chromosomes) How does that work? If it is a clone doesn't that make it an exact copy?
Why is cloning such a bad thing?
Watch Stargate Atlantis.
Dude, I would so dress up like Jango Fett and make my clones wear Clone Trooper armor and follow me around. ULTIMATE POSSE
Why are clones bad you ask? Their bad because when we clone this guy is gunna kill you.
Watch Stargate Atlantis.
Naw, fallout 3 GGGAARRYYYY
Garry
Oh god.. not again
That's gary in Fallout 3, not garry.
I don't know how to feel about this. Part of me is interested, the other is worried. I just don't want our world to end up like The World State in Brave New World.
Animal-Human Hybrids Hooray!
True.. Exo, we can be furfags finally YUS
Animal-Human Hybrids Hooray!
Both you and that thought itself are disgusting.
Animal-Human Hybrids Hooray!
That would be disgusting. It wouldn't work the way you think it will, it would be an abomination.
did you even watch the video?
Yes
Then you aren't thinking right. Don't you realize how bad this would be?
No, what harm could it do? It would be a gigantic step in scientific advancement.
While there'd be a lot of consequences to this research if it's successful, I don't think they'd be as dire as people are making them out to be.
