The RCMP is on the hunt for suspects in a Chrysler Intrepid after a Mountie was shot during a traffic stop in Kamloops, B.C., early Wednesday morning.
The officer, whose name hasn't been released, is undergoing surgery for serious injuries, Cpl. Cheryl Bush of the Kamloops RCMP said.
The officer was trying to stop the car when "an exchange of gun fire occurred," at about 2:45 a.m.

The public is asked to call police if they see the car. The occupants are considered armed and dangerous.
Hey look. Our city made the news again!.
Kamloops isn't small.
Lucky. All we have in the USA are Dodge Intrepids.
Well I'm glad to hear the officer is at least still alive. Hopefully he comes out of surgery that way.

Well, for a Canadian town I guess, but compared to Vancouver or Toronto it is. Compared to some US cities like New York, LA, Chicago, and Houston it's tiny.
