Legalize and Regulate Marijuana in a Manner Similar to Alcohol. We the people want to know when we can have our "perfectly legitimate" discussion on marijuana legalization. Marijuana prohibition has resulted in the arrest of over 20 million Americans since 1965, countless lives ruined and hundreds of billions of tax dollars squandered and yet this policy has still failed to achieve its stated goals of lowering use rates, limiting the drug's access, and creating safer communities. Isn't it time to legalize and regulate marijuana in a manner similar to alcohol? If not, please explain why you feel that the continued criminalization of cannabis will achieve the results in the future that it has never achieved in the past?
It's a big national issue they can't keep pushing it back under the nug*.
I read it as that. Anyways, title is somewhat misleading, you are stating its 'by the US Government' when it was sent in motion by NORML.
Yeah I know the title is misleading, I didn't realize what it shoud've been until it was too late.
I don't want it to be regulated and taxed, but then again i can just find a dealer. Heh, even if this happens there's still going to be plenty of dealers.
if this happens theres going to be MORE dealers with much better product
if this happens theres going to be MORE dealers with much better product
yeee boiiii. Fuck them feds with their pesticides!
"once it has enough signatures it will go to the white house staff (staff of the website, not actual white house), review it, and sent it to the appropraite policy experts, and issue and official response"
"once it has enough signatures it will go to the white house staff (staff of the website, not actual white house), review it, and sent it to the appropraite policy experts, and issue and official response"
aka, absolutely nothing will happen
Didn't Marlboro trademark, or did something, all the names of the most popular strains of marijuana? It would be not funny to see marijuana end up like cigarettes.
urban legend
It's a big national issue they can't keep pushing it back under the rug.
they can if the right folks keep paying the right price
they can if the right folks keep paying the right price
But the question is why would these folks keep paying when they could make a killing off legalizing it.
But the question is why would these folks keep paying when they could make a killing off legalizing it.
because they get payed more to look the other way, sway trials, and halt legislature. Its also tax free.
Signed.

I fucking love norml.
it would be impossible for the obama administration to legalize marijuana. it will never happen, under the current administration.
it would be impossible for the obama administration to legalize marijuana. it will never happen, under the current administration.
It'll at least get the ball rolling.
It'll at least get the ball rolling.
Hopefully the UK government will pay attention to this as well. I know in the past (Blair era) our government used to be heavily influenced by the US.
