When he mentioned "deepest" I thought he'd dive in it
I'm studying abroad in Akita and went to Tazawa Lake some weeks ago, so it's interesting to me to see a video on it. Not too far from the statue of Tatsuko is a rather large hotel that was apparently used as the setting for a popular Korean drama show (that I now forget the name of), and because of that there was a sudden increase of tourists from Korea/Taiwan during the show's popularity. We were told the same story about Tatsuko, except we were also told that the lake never freezes no matter how harsh the winter season is, and that the dragon's remains deep in the lake are the reason for why that is. He glanced over Akita City due to the focus being on Tazawa, which is a shame because he never talked about or showed Senshuu Park, which gives off a similar relaxing aura to it as well. Here's a pic of a pond at the park: https://my.mixtape.moe/lawtwu.jpg
