I found the rhyming really took the enjoyment out of this series. I otherwise probably would of enjoyed it... Oh well, still watched it all.
I'm having trouble following the flaws they're pointing out with half of their rhyming being extremely forced. As a kid I really didn't like the Grinch, I dunno, someone how even then I knew it was dumb and not very well made.
Nostalgia critic kills it... in a bad way. Really ruined it imo.
Nostalgia critic, Angry Joe, Jim Sterling, Spoony All part of the same clique that isn't funny
Nostalgia critic, Angry Joe, Jim Sterling, Spoony All part of the same clique that isn't funny
Opinions
Opinions
Yeah true thats my opinion, but if there ever was a place for high pitch terribly acted voices and overly fake rage scenes with guns, yelling, and cheesy effects its passed (not specifically related to this video)
Remember, he married his wife so you didn't have to!
I can sort of understand why people thought to make full length adaptations of the Seuss books (money money money), but why did they think it was a good idea to make them live action? Seuss' style lends itself much better to animation, and it was made quite obvious in this movie.
I usually like NC's stuff but some of these complaints seem to be missing the point.
I wish spoony did more video game reviews on his site. [editline]17th December 2014[/editline] He's kinda fucked up but that makes him interesting imo
There's one issue I have with Nostalgia critic aside from his terrible, unfunny skits that I feel must absolutely be pointed out: [t]http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-UsO_bvaf_Nc/UP-TNYJ4KgI/AAAAAAAAAxY/bp1-Wp2RTIA/s1600/NostalgiaCriticReturn6.png[/t] That's not how you wear a fucking necktie ffs. Nigga has the suit jacket and the tie but decides to wear a plain white T-shirt with it. How hard is it to find a collared shirt?
oh god, why does every video involving the grinch have to rhyme? why can't people just talk anymore?

[editline]17th December 2014[/editline]
oh god, why does every video involving the grinch have to rhyme? why can't people just talk anymore?
For a second, I thought that had been a rhyme and was trying to see how it worked.
I'm a fan of the NC and most of Doug Walker's stuff, even if his decision to start forcing skits into his reviews was a little lame (to his credit he has really toned down the skits though). I thought I'd enjoy this more than I did considering that I like both Cinema Sins and the NC, but the rhyming got old pretty quickly.

CinemaSins is terrible. Half the 'sins' are just fucking bad jokes they make about the film, and most of the rest are incredibly minor gripes.
CinemaSins is terrible. Half the 'sins' are just fucking bad jokes they make about the film, and most of the rest are incredibly minor gripes.
Maybe CinemaSins isn't an entirely serious endeavour.
Nostalgia critic, Angry Joe, Jim Sterling, Spoony All part of the same clique that isn't funny
I think Spoony is pretty funny. The only TGWTG reviewer that's really good is the Cinema Snob, though.
Yeah true thats my opinion, but if there ever was a place for high pitch terribly acted voices and overly fake rage scenes with guns, yelling, and cheesy effects its passed (not specifically related to this video)
I can't remember the last time Angry Joe did the "guns so funny" and shrieking schtick
Maybe CinemaSins isn't an entirely serious endeavour.
So? If the jokes are forced and the format is irrelevant then what difference does it make?
Nostalgia critic, Angry Joe, Jim Sterling, Spoony All part of the same clique that isn't funny
I never tire of people that feel the need to make obvious their bigoted superiority complexes and straightforwardly declare that content from a person is bad/unfunny/heretical, whilst ramming it down the throat of everyone in a thread about them I'm all for freedom of speech but pointless trashy snipes like this fill half of every thread like this
Nostalgia critic, Angry Joe, Jim Sterling, Spoony All part of the same clique that isn't funny
spoony is okay once in a blue moon. but he has been getting steadily more cringey for a long while now
So? If the jokes are forced and the format is irrelevant then what difference does it make?
Not everyone shares the same sense of humour I suppose? I personally find them entertaining.
it's bloody blocked.
Nostalgia critic, Angry Joe, Jim Sterling, Spoony All part of the same clique that isn't funny
Hey, why is Jim in there? :(
Nostalgia critic really needs to get laid.
-snipity snap-
Nostalgia critic, Angry Joe, Jim Sterling, Spoony All part of the same clique that isn't funny
I agree I don't feel likey the portray a kind of comedy that I don't like, but I rather like they're boring or bad at it. Nothing personal against them, kudos to you if you can make internet videos as a living that make tons of people happy, don't even hate pewdipie in that regard. [editline]17th December 2014[/editline] I don't even like avgn anymore, too stale
