Decided to start a post about green day just saw thtem live on the 16th of august and they kicked ass by far the best show i've seen leave your thoughts on the band
my dad likes one of their albums i think theyre gay but whatever
This is a very interesting thread  To start something, I personally think that 21st Century Breakdown is one of the worst albums they have. There are only a couple ok songs, and the rest is a bunch of filler shit. I didn't really have a problem with american idiot (the album, the song gets old quick). I wish that they'd stop with the anti-america/establishment gig. We have rise against for that.

how many green day threads are there now

Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to see them live, and I doubt they'll be playing in my area for a while because they just played here. I agree american idiot and nimrod are good albums, but 21st century breakdown was a disappointment. I didn't mean to say that I prefer rise against to green, but rise against has a more meaningful/deeper aura than green day. Green day makes up most of my iTunes :D

Their 90's music is best.
[QUOTE=4AMFriday;24831831]Their 90's music is best.[/QUOTE] i agree songs like good riddance which is way to popular of a song for what its worth by the way
How many of these goddamn threads are there? I swear every single time I see one of these, there is NO CONTENT in OP's post "hi i like greenday do u like greenday" Please just make one thread and stick with it, please
The OP had half the posts in this thread before I posted... And Green Day are waaaay too average. Generic rock. Not my stuff.
For some reason I always thought that Green Day wanted to be "The Clash". But I don't know, I just know I dislike their music these days, never heard their early work.
no way they were trying to be the clash they wanted to be as popular as the who but have the writing style of a 13 year old girl
Someone needs to make a decent Green Day megathread that has a decent OP and not just a dumb "i like green day i saw them i like there songs i like dookie and all their singles because theyre on the radio ^^ :)". Please.
for everyone on here who keeps giving me crap about the ammount of greenday threads there are this is my one and only green day thread so dont get mad at me
it doesn't matter if it's YOUR only thread there should only be one thread for the entire forum, not one per user.
Most of the green day posts out thre are probably written by a bunch of shitheads who know a song or two and think they know green day when they havent listened to an album beyond american idiot i guarantee if you ask the leader of a post like that to post the first line of a song like maria or jesus of suburbia without looking it up they wouldnt know shit

They like the band? Isn't that enough? At least they don't make themselves look like a tool by proclaiming they are the foremost knowledge on said band and talking shit about people who like them as well.
i'm the son of rage and love im an expert [editline]11:43PM[/editline] the jesus of suburbia from the bible of none of the above on a steady diet of soda pop and ritalin no one ever died for my sins in hell as far as i can tell at least the ones ive gotten away with but there's nothing wrong with me this is how i'm supposed to be in the land of make believe that dont believe in me [editline]11:43PM[/editline] excuse me while i kill myself
