Reminder to all American Facepunchers: DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME BEGINS!

That's right! Tonight you get the painful job of setting all your clocks forward a hour and replacing that stupid smoke detector battery AND you do LOOSE ONE HOUR OF SLEEP/GAMING/WHATEVER at 2 A.M.! Also don't be a idiot who shows up at church tomorrow 1 hour late and go WHERE THE FUCK IS EVERYONE just as the church lets out.

North-americans facepunchers.
Uh no it's an hour forward we LOSE an hour of sleep/gaming/whatever.
Painful job? Near enough all electronics set their own times, watches are easy enough to pull the little pin out and then turn a little bit and big clocks are even more simple to do.
I just saw this on the news, it's got its good and bad. Lose one hour of sleep, but it stays daylight out longer.
Haha. I get longer daylight without the need of setting my clocks

After living her your whole life, you get use to it.
Thanks for the reminder, also fuck 1 hour of gaming is lost.
:gonk:
I miss the hour already.
I really don't understand why we have this.
I can't stand having to share time with other people in my area. I keep my watch (currentYear - 2000) hours ahead. It's midnight on my watch, and lunchtime here.
Not again...
I'm in AZ, I don't have to give a shit :smug:

Well, to some degree we may have Benjamin Franklin to thank.
"Franklin, who penned the proverb, "Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise," was among the first to suggest the idea. In a 1784 essay he wrote that adjusting the clocks in the spring could be a good way to save on candles. "

To give us more sunlight through out the day.
Lets say you leave for work at 7am and live in Calgary.
The sunrises at 6:50am and the sunsets at 6:39pm.
Daylight savings moves 1 hour ahead.
So the sun now rises at 7:50am and sets at 7:39pm giving us more daylight.
how do I a church?
