Uh no it's an hour forward we LOSE an hour of sleep/gaming/whatever.

Painful job? Near enough all electronics set their own times, watches are easy enough to pull the little pin out and then turn a little bit and big clocks are even more simple to do.

I just saw this on the news, it's got its good and bad. Lose one hour of sleep, but it stays daylight out longer.

The sunrises at 6:50am and the sunsets at 6:39pm. Daylight savings moves 1 hour ahead. So the sun now rises at 7:50am and sets at 7:39pm giving us more daylight.
