The Allman Brothers - General

I just got back from a concert with them and Wide Spread Panic. Warren wasn't there, and they played some of thier weakest songs. Jeez. But it was still a great show, so does anyone else like 'em?

I only like one set of brothers and those are the jonas brothers.

They're pretty good, Live at Fillmore is an amazing album, though most of their stuff is great too.

I haven't really listened to the later music by them, but I love the pre-80's stuff.

Yeah, it was a real letdown. The reason Warren wasn't there is that the plane never came to pick him up, and Dereck Trucks hurt his hand out riding on his motorcycle I believe. Never-the-less still a great concert. Probably my favorite stuff by them is: Ramblin' Man, Soulshine, and Jessica.

I saw them uh.. a little over a year ago. Derek and Warren were both there. Honestly, I wasn't entertained. I was blown away by the talent, but some of the jamtastic jam sessions of repetitive riffs of repetitive repetition really just wore on me. 25 minute songs that were 4 minutes on the albums just.. I don't know, they hit me hard.

I haven't heard a bad song by them. I haven't really got any of their albums, but I've heard some of their earlier stuff and I like that.

I love the Allman Brothers, but they haven't been the same since Duane died . . . :-( RIP Duane.
