[hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M56_O7a_aKQ[/hd] I'm not sure how they'll pull off the large scale military multiplayer mayhem with the cops n' robbers theme
After seeing the leak and the equipment there was, it just seemed to be battlefield 3/4 but with new gamemods
It just feels like its going to be normal Battlefield but everybody is dressed as cops and robbers, its still going to be a over the top military thing
Did DICE at least fix BF4 before moving on to a new game?
Still gonna get this, Battlefield with car chases is gonna be sweet. (And as a veteran heli pilot i look forward to chasing cars and having teammates with snipers onboard.) Have they said anything about how the cars will work though? I really want to be able to shoot the tires.
Did DICE at least fix BF4 before moving on to a new game?
they recently patches the networking so its not impossible at all for infantry combat and most of the studdering is gone so yeah.
I'm imagining a Payday-like game play where the robbers have to pull off heists and escape with the cops trying to stop them and going apeshit around town trying to escape.
What the fuck. That's just cashing in on GTA V's success. It would have been partially fine without the retarded Battlefield title.

BF3 and 4 are incredibly similar, at least they are taking the fun mechanics of those games and putting them into something new. You all are complaining that it's BF4 with new gamemodes, so what? BF4 is BF3 without new game modes.
-snip- sorry

i'm pretty interested in how this turns out, i still play BF3 sometimes, it's pretty fun imo they could have just called it hardline or something though, i guess the battlefield title sells more i love movies and games about police i kinda wanna be a cop
Should of just been called Hardline, They should of slapped Visceral's name on it, with help from DICE, and then the Frostbite 3 logo and EA and people would of still bought it. But I agree with the majority of people, this isn't a battlefield game and this game only has one purpose. They made this game to replace Medal of Honor since that became so shit. It's a game they are going to release every two years just to compete with CoD and unfortunately they've slapped Battlefield's name on the front of it. Brand association, it doesn't mean its gonna be a bad game. But its defiantly not a Battlefield.
From what i understand, the company made up of people that left Infinity Ward that left Activision had an idea originally for large scale cops and robbers game before they were hired by EA for Titanfall. I guess EA liked the Idea and decided to make that game too.

I feel like no matter which way you go, someone will be upset. You've got A) many of the people here who think that since it's about cops 'n robbers and not about being generic sand people shooter v. XXI it shouldn't have the name "Battlefield" associated with it. Then you'll have group B) who will play the game and see that it plays exactly like a BF game and ask why the hell it is trying to be it's own thing when it is clearly just another Battlefield game set somewhere else.
Or they could not reuse the Battlefield gameplay and give it gameplay that at least a little better fits the theme. Its not like the choices are Battlefield or Call of Duty.
Yeah but they did, I'm just talking about the title for this game.

I'm not gonna buy it that's for sure. I was content with the 2 year cycle for Battlefield, including Premium but I ain't gonna be pulled in a yearly cycle.
It just feels like its going to be normal Battlefield but everybody is dressed as cops and robbers, its still going to be a over the top military thing
that's exactly what it is. I'm not even going to bother with this one after seeing how BF4 turned out.
that's exactly what it is. I'm not even going to bother with this one after seeing how BF4 turned out.
uhm you're kidding right? DICE handled BF4 the fucking best they could have. They have been extremely vocal and supportive with the community since launch and know it was a fuck up. They have been working hard on improving stability and working on networking problems. It wasn't even their fault since EA wanted to launch BF4 against COD ghosts even though DICE claimed it still needed a couple of months of polish. Atm BF4 is extremely playable and the new maps are very well done.
More like reused assetsfield.
Because every time a game developer wants a generic item to be used in their game, they have to pay their artists to remake the 3d model, and texture, every single time. Ok.
Expectations are low. P. Sure Visceral is leading the development, and they haven't made an FPS since 2001.
hey guys look it's tactical intervention
