Now that I see what this new item is, I'd rather see it on the demoman so he can do crazy ass jumps. This seems useless to the soldier since it will take away his shotgun, which is too useful to give up. Maybe the new rocket launcher would make up for it, but now I wish this was on Demoman

I wonder what the demo would have gotten. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if these boots would have been awarded no matter which class won because they decrease explosion jump damage.
It would have gotten these same boots propably, since both use rocket/sticky jump. Only difference would have been who invented it.

Well Demo lost as too many people played as Demo. That means their was a lot more targets for the soldiers splash dammage.

It'd be pretty awesome if I got any of the unlocks yet. Up to 8 (maybe 9) achievements now on the Demo and not a single new unlock.
