holy shit this looks better than i thought
i can't wait to play this game
holy shit this looks better than i thought
I mean I don't know what you were expecting because 2033 was fantastic
I have to finish Metro 2033 on Ranger Hardcore before I get this game. This game looks much better.
ugh spiderthings metro 2033 was scary enough this might just push me over the "eek not playing this game" limit
Welp, I think I may need a new computer.
ugh spiderthings metro 2033 was scary enough this might just push me over the "eek not playing this game" limit
i dunno why people always say metro 2033 was so scary, it wasn't scary at all imo
i dunno why people always say metro 2033 was so scary, it wasn't scary at all imo
It's only scary when you have no ammo and you know that there are going to be Nazis/mutants/or those fucking Amoebae.
i dunno why people always say metro 2033 was so scary, it wasn't scary at all imo
the librarians were scary as i reckon. except for on my ranger hardcore playthrough i discovered they're easy as to kill with the volt driver
demons were pretty scary before I discovered the sticky grenade
The gunplay looks pretty hardcore. Probably going to play through 2033 again before I get my hands on Last Light
i hope this has a ranger hardcore mode as well fuck i can't wait for this game!
i hope this has a ranger hardcore mode as well fuck i can't wait for this game!
They pulled a move where it's only available if you preorder (and will be ~dlc~ after launch) but you'll probably be able to get "RANGER EDITION" from Amazon even after it launches.
It won't be DLC. It will be in the limited edition version. It will be the same as Red Orchestra and it will probably be only 5 dollars more. It's not as if it's a big fucking deal, the Ranger mode was dlc for the last game.
yeah but that dlc was free
I'm not really bothered by this whole thing but I'll play devil's advocate, the DLC wasn't free on the xbox.
"...as there's more than just bandits and mutants haunting the Metro." Heh, a little jab I think.
I'm not really bothered by this whole thing but I'll play devil's advocate, the DLC wasn't free on the xbox.
thats more the fault of the xbox & microsofts DLC policies (remember how valve couldn't release their tf2 updates for free on the xbox?)
I fucking loved Metro 2033. Played through it a couple of times, including on ranger hardcore which I really liked. Took me 2 playthroughs to properly get what was going on the whole time too, like that [sp]the dark ones aren't really bad guys[/sp].
i should get around to reading that book
thats more the fault of the xbox & microsofts DLC policies (remember how valve couldn't release their tf2 updates for free on the xbox?)
The thing about the DLC's on the xbox wasn't a microsoft thing. It was a hardware issue. The ram required was simply too high for the hardware.
i should get around to reading that book
I believe that the author of the book is going to release another book in english called Metro 2035 which describes the events of LL, but also includes all the the things that the devs couldn't have incorporated into the game itself. Hopefully that means a good blend of action and philosophy unlike 2034.

YUSSSSSSSSS The Bastard Gun and Uboinik are back!
Metro 2033 was fucking awesome, but the only thing that was really scary were those [sp]big gorilla looking things[/sp] near the end, only because of [sp]how intense it was if you decided not to try to kill them, because you couldn't look away.[/sp] Looking forward to this though.
I hope I can run this.
It's only scary when you have no ammo and you know that there are going to be Nazis/mutants/or those fucking Amoebae.
I just saved all my money, found a coil gun and bought a fuckton of ball bearings. Which lasted me for pretty much the rest of the game. Oh, and a silenced revolver.
demons were pretty scary before I discovered the sticky grenade
Demons were never scary to me, as I killed the first two in the game, the ones you're supposed to just hide from. They died in like two shots to the volt driver.
I enjoyed the linear format of 2033. Hopefully they fill the metro with truly unique things to discover instead of the generic, way-point driven sequences that many open-world games seem to employ and call content- it can go either way...
