No they don't, most demolitions involve the detonation of a bottom floor at such an angle that the weight of the building does the rest of the destruction. Theoretically the building should come crashing down and buckling under it's own weight.

I've seen many demolition jobs, and alot of them place explosives at major support beams on [I]several[/I] floors. Doing just the bottom isn't always going to work.
Thats what i believe it SHOULD have looked like when the planes hit the twin towers, they should have fallen like that.

This is what we should of built the Twins Towers like.
Except, have an emergency pillow system where all the walls eject pillows.
So when you fall as the building topples over, you fall gently into a pillow of air.
