Smiling and greeting people as they arrive and holding doors for old ladies. it's not media tags, it's you. figure out how URLs work, people
why don't you give that a try
why don't you give that a try
fucking magic
The only way that would be intimidating is if you are legitimately scared of black people. I mean goddamn. He's just standing out there. SMILING.
He opened the door for old ladies. Seems like a bro to me. Also "in an election that is virtually tied" made me chuckle. Stay classy, Fox news.
Isn't it more illegal to secretly film someone and possibly libel them on t.v than "appearing intimidating"
Looks like intimidation
How so? Because he is black?
I think it's the fact that he is part of the black panthers...which regardless of what most you think is a pro-black group, basically the black version of the KKK. No he may not be doing anything on camera, and maybe not off camera either, but him begin there is a way of saying "hey vote for the black guy, because I'll be here waiting" It would be the same way with a Skinhead standing outside the voting poles. SKinsheads don't all act like animals, and can be civil people too. He shouldn't be there.

The New Black Panthers are basically a hate group, if I'm not mistaken. But this piece was pretty clearly just a quick, "let's drum up some racism in our primarily-white, elderly viewership". Not to mention how funny it is that the clip is literally just the guy opening a door for two old ladies.
Oh man that's hilarious, better than the onion.
Replace that guy with a skinhead or Neo-Nazi doing the same thing. It's the same deal. That's why people are upset. How hard is that to understand? I know people want to immediately cry racism (and that could still be partially why, esp. with Fox); but please.
basically the black version of the KKK.
If I remember right the New Black Panthers are pretty extremist (and the Black Panthers disavow them), but if you actually think the actual, regular Black Panthers are anything close to the KKK...well, you are wrong. That is historically way off base. Even the New Black Panthers have never, you know, murdered innocent people (or anyone). The KKK has done a lot of that.
I love how he even opens the door for some people whilst they're pointing out how intimidating he is
basically the black version of the KKK.
no no no no the express purpose of the KKK is to terrorize black people. no fair-minded person can say the black panthers, new or not new, do the same thing.

I may be missing something due to the resolution, but nothing about him screams Black Panther.

"Semi-military clothes." Around here we call that a jacket. One typically wears it when it's cold outside.
maybe its his beret with the black panthers logo on it
Like I said, the resolution makes it hard to see and I don't know enough about the Black Panthers to spot it from just the general shape. Though still, if I was just walking in to vote and saw him I wouldn't instantly assume him to be a member of the Black Panthers, but again, I'm largely ignorant along with most of America when it comes to them.

The KKK were more open about it when they killed someone, they had no one to fear at the time...The Black Panthers I can assure you did some horrible things too, but hid it. Times change, KKK and Black Panthers are hate groups and should be treated as such, and if you support either one, you are a fucking idiot.
I don't think the black panther party is anywhere near the KKK simply because they don't have the organization or dedication. I didn't mean to imply that they're the equivalent of the KKK but they certainly are fighting for a little more than just "injustice" at this point.
The Black Panthers I can assure you did some horrible things too, but hid it.
yeah i'm sure you can assure me a lot but until you prove it i don't need to acknowledge anything [editline]6th November 2012[/editline]
I didn't mean to imply that they're the equivalent of the KKK but they certainly are fighting for a little more than just "injustice" at this point.
yeah but implying that having this guy in front of the building is the same as having a klansman in front of a building is ludicrous and non-sense
Wow, this comes up every time there's an article about either the black panthers, or the kkk. They're two completely different groups, the only thing they have in common is the fact that part of their foundation is built upon one race. Regardless, it's still nice that the black panthers don't wear terrifying hoods with holes cut out.
Replace that guy with a skinhead or Neo-Nazi doing the same thing.
