Didn't he get impeached for committing perjury while under oath, not for having the affair? It seems a little disingenuous for Sanders to make it sound like the impeachment was about the affair.
How the hell can you not like this guy, he's been saying the same message for 20+ years and he's stayed true to his beliefs and ideals, you can't say that about hardly anyone that's made it into office.

Consistency doesn't seem to win you the election.

Who's the war-hawk who voted to thrust us into the Iraq quagmire? Among others, HILLARY. Who was about the ONLY ONE who DIDN'T, and had the foresight to know it would be disastrous? Fucking BERNIE. Her supposed experience isn't worth a fart in a snowstorm if she could make decisions like that. The only reason anyone can say that is how LONG she's been screwing up, and assuming that BEING the SoD necessarily means she's good at her job.
Saying bernie was the only one who didn't want to go to war is stupid
I think he means the only one in this current presidential election run.

But the context of the time was "family values" Republicans who were being exposed weekly for their own extra-marital affairs making it a moral issue. Sanders is probably replying to those Republican representatives. It was really about both, mostly because Republicans pushed the family values, sanctity of marriage angle, probably gambling that they could win the American public on their side with such rhetoric, and losing face badly.
