• Demonic experience...

I went to bed at about 9:00pm Saturday, Hallows Eve. This is what I remember. (All of it is totally true) Allow me to start by saying that I am Agnostic, and I always have been. I woke up some time that night, and I could tell immediately something wasn't right. My first instinct was to remain calm and assess my situation. I looked around, I was still lying down, but it took me a minute to realize I couldn't move at all, I was bound to my bed in a ca-coon of my covers. It was about the time that I realized this, that I realized i was no longer lying down, but rather in an upright position, still unable to move, and my covers replaced by chains suspending me from the wall, and I was no longer in my room, I was in a "pit" type thing, that only went up and down. I couldn't see the bottom, but at the same time, I couldn't see the top. It is a total blur between when this change in position occurred, I don't remember the event actually "occurring". But rather, the effects were immediate. I was terrified, but I tried to think rationally. I specifically remember being able to feel the chains grip my body, and to be able to smell, and hear, and taste the "air". It soon became apparent that I was not alone, Directly in front of me, something was there. It had no physical form, yet I knew it was there. I could sense it. It began speaking, i couldn't understand it at first, but it hen said distinctly "The beast will reign!" i remained silent. It repeated this phrase several times and then said. "I want to hear you say it!". I said no, but it continued to pester me into saying it. "The beast will reign, I want to hear you say it!" it repeated. Then in the back of my mind, "something" told me what to say. I yelled "Get behind me Satan!" and at that moment, I was not returned to my bed, and i was still bound to this wall, but I knew i was safe. I fell asleep, and then woke up in my bed. I didn't immediately remember these events upon waking, but they became more clear as I thought about it. What happened to me was much much to vivid to be a dream, yet it was so unreal. So what do you think FP? Anything similar happen to any of you? Logical explanations for it all?
Lay off the LSD, buddy.
Sounds like a nightmare to me.

Sounds like sleep paralysis
How old are you ? My grandma lost her sanity few days ago and she does the same. She keeps talking to herself and yelling at everybody to shut the fuck up and go to sleep, in the middle of the day.
Sound's the same i had once. When i was a kid, i had such a feeling i couldn't move and had to eat rocks rolling at me. Yes sound's very stupid but i also didn't feel as a nightmare.
How old are you ? My grandma lost her sanity few days ago and she does the same. She keeps talking to herself and yelling at everybody to shut the fuck up and go to sleep, in the middle of the day.
I'm 14.
I have never been in a nightmare where i could feel.
It's extremely possible. I've had dreams where I've felt before. Just, it doesn't happen very often, it's a rare occasion.

It was just sleep paralysis.
Combination of Lucid Dreaming (you were aware you were dreaming) and sleep paralysis (couldn't move)
You should seek help, you may have schizophrenia or something. There is a chance that you may be telling the truth, and some demonic entity is really pursuing you. In that case, avow yourself to Christ/holiness.
In addition, the paralysis may be accompanied by terrifying hallucinations (hypnopompic or hypnagogic) and an acute sense of danger.[9] Sleep paralysis is particularly frightening to the individual because of the vividness of such hallucinations.[8] The hallucinatory element to sleep paralysis makes it even more likely that someone will interpret the experience as a dream, since completely fanciful or dream-like objects may appear in the room alongside one's normal vision. Some scientists have proposed this condition as an explanation for alien abductions and ghostly encounters.[10] A study by Susan Blackmore and Marcus Cox (the Blackmore-Cox study) of the University of the West of England supports the suggestion that reports of alien abductions are related to sleep paralysis rather than to temporal lobe lability.[11]
Sleep paralysis, if it happens again just try to wiggle your toes
avow yourself to Christ/holiness.
no thanks. [editline]31st October 2010[/editline] ahhh, my thread is full of rainbows!

Paralyzing of Sleep
Sleep Paralysis It's like when you are asleep, but your head starts making stuff up like in a dream, even though you are awake
Yeah, I had sleep paralysis once and thought it was a demon, too. Just read up on the stuff and learn how to control it.
"Get behind me Satan!" I think you landed in someone else's wet dream
