I posted this in Creationism Corner and it got a couple of replies, so I decided to make a new one here to see what you guys thought of it. The FacePod would be a facepuncher's podcast. I'm going to leave it to you guys to decide how long each show is, the rate of episodes (e.g: weekly), etc. It would be hosted by me and a couple of others. I've got one or two volunteers already who have offered to help. My initial idea for the show is mainly news in and out of FP, but it would be 80% filled with jokes. I also thought I would leave any extra stuff such as theme tunes, logo's, etc. up to you to make. If you have any questions please feel free to ask, and tell me what you think. If I get any volunteers for hosts I will keep a small list in this OP.
I don't know about you but as long as there's as least two hat-tips to me in every podcast I will give it my endorsement and provide myself as legally culpable for any prosecutable actions it may endeavour in.

That would improve both of the parts. People who listen to shoutpunch would start listening to your podcast, and people who listen to your podcast may catch it on shoutpunch. Win/win situation! Plus shoutpunch is on autodj for like 75% of the time anyway, it kinda needs some content.

Also, ideas for the podcast:
1. Get a good band of people, and make it genuinly funny. Not facepunch chat "funny," but humor that anyone on the internet would enjoy.
2. Keep it mature, not just "lol diks thats what she said rotfl"
3. Frequency.
4. Change the name to something catchier, like Punchcast. That sounds a bit more cool.
5. Add bumpers to the sections, keep the podcast generally organized.
6. Maybe have a "thread events" section where you show notable threads in various sections of the forums?
I'm too socially awkward to be in the actual podcast but I'll listen to every episode and be a crazed fan :buddy:
