(CNN) - The Obama administration's decision to close for tours while at the same time releasing hundreds of millions of dollars in aid to Egypt amounts to political gamesmanship, according to Sen. Rand Paul. Reacting to Secretary of State John Kerry's move last week to release $250 million in economic aid to Egypt, Paul on Monday harked back to the news that tours of the executive mansion have been suspended as mandatory across-the-board spending cuts take effect. "These Mickey Mouse games he does, then gives $250 million in addition to the couple billion we already give to Egypt. I think it's a disgrace," Paul said on CNN's "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer."
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2013/03/11/rand-paul-hits-obama-for-playing-mickey-mouse-games/

I do not see what is wrong with this. Rand Paul is really carrying on his predecessor's legacy by complaining about absolutely nothing relevant (beside drones).
I do not see what is wrong with this. Rand Paul is really carrying on his predecessor's legacy by complaining about absolutely nothing relevant (beside drones).
Because standing up for your rights is hardly relevant. However trivial it may seem.
Because standing up for your rights is hardly relevant. However trivial it may seem.
wasn't Ron's whole political platform basically "i ain't touchin' that" anyway?
wasn't Ron's whole political platform basically "i ain't touchin' that" anyway?
It was more like "I'm not wealthy and powerful enough, rework the system to better benefit me and my select few friends! But I want it to sound like I care about everyone! Even the blacks! (Although I really don't. (Especially not about the blacks.))"
the playstation version of that game was hard as balls
If your balls are hard you might want to get that checked out.
I do not see what is wrong with this. Rand Paul is really carrying on his predecessor's legacy by complaining about absolutely nothing relevant (beside drones).
because giving away millions of money is nothing?
why are we giving money to Egypt?
Rand Paul is gonna run for the republican ticket in 2016. Calling it now. In other news, I don't see why Egypt should get our money... We already are spending too much...
wasn't Ron's whole political platform basically "i ain't touchin' that" anyway?
Well Ron Paul's whole stance was 'Go back to how it was intended', which I believe for the U.S. was the Government makes sure the states follow the constitution, and the states govern themselves. At least that's how I understand it. Oh and not to mention complete isolationist policy which means no aide to foreign countries, no invasions. Complete focus on home.

Complete focus on home.
We tried 'states governing' themselves in a way less centralized than we have now with the Articles of Confederation. It didn't work. I'm all for respecting civil liberties with regard to the TSA, the PATRIOT Act, drone strikes, and those sorts of things, but his platform of Austrian economics and non-interventionism even when it comes to legitimately humanitarian aid is pulled right out of the 19th century's ass.
the playstation version of that game was hard as balls
I played the PS1 game and I don't think it was.
I played the PS1 game and I don't think it was.
I remember it as hard. Never got past the moose chase level.
This is a comment on the size of Obama's ears.
This is a comment on the size of Obama's ears.
It's to pick up number stations so the communists can take over.
wasn't Ron's whole political platform basically "i ain't touchin' that" anyway?
His platform was " I won't touch your rights, they're yours anyway. " [editline]14th March 2013[/editline]
Well Ron Paul's whole stance was 'Go back to how it was intended', which I believe for the U.S. was the Government makes sure the states follow the constitution, and the states govern themselves.
wasn't Ron's whole political platform basically "i ain't touchin' that" anyway?
Ron Paul and Rand Paul are two different people.

I don't know how it is in America, but in Australia "Mickey Mouse" can be used to describe something as inconsequential or "small" in impact. At least that's how I always interpreted it.
