My personal theory is that they're kidnapped by aliens, in a guise of a reality TV show. The aliens just want them to have sex so they can have more specimen to study.

Can you explain the first two? There is a crack on the window and a stain on the floor? So what?
The crack is suspiciously shaped liked a bullethole, and considering how close the stain is to it one wonders what the hell happened there before the contestants entered the house.
the stain on the floor is red and it might not be just a crack but from a bullet entering or exiting the room. I would say it could be just tack covering the center clack, but then again the mold that conquers the room isn't real either. And the set seems to be highly detailed for that just to be a editing mistake, they have some pretty bad electrical setups which if they were real would violate some regulations, I've only seen one wall outlet not fully plugged in.

I watched the first episode and didn't really laugh that much, but I continued watching and now I love it! It's just gotten so crazy. I keep thinking I'm waking people up, in fact, earlier I laughed so hard I snorted.
I know that hand gesture the Therapist and the Host did is the same one that they use in 1984, so brainwashing is definitely involved in this somewhere.
