When hurricane Earl hit, I made a thread saying that if I didn't snip said thread something bad must have happend... and something bad did happen.

So, hey there everyone.
Some people asked for pics of the storm, but the damnest thing happened:
I went ouside with my camera and while I was adjusting the settings for the rain... a big ass broken branch went flying at me and knocked me over, I looked all over for that camera but never found it! v:v:v
And I see a bunch of bellyaching over the fact it was only a class 2, at the time nobody knew what class it would be, AND it was my first hurricane. I was on the outter banks everybody, it was very windy.

Where was this happening in North Carolina? I live in Wilmington (aka the beach) and the most we got was a little rain. In fact my niece and I were swimming in the afternoon when it was supposedly at its worst.

swimming in the pool, not in the massive floods that didn't happen. My sister was disappointed we didn't get a bad storm or anything.

Category, not class. I know these things, I live in the Florida panhandle (the place with the giant target painted on it next to the "Hurricanes Welocme!" sign)
