it's been said a thousand times already, but this dude is pure energy
what the fuck he's 49. I know black don't crack but this is ridiculous
Damn, give me 1% of that energy, Crews.
Terry Crews is just the best.
I get the feeling that the occasional piano bits are kind of a "crowd please shut up" signal
As a designer it's really intriguing to me that Terry Crews has an art background - an ACTUAL art background, not a "I'm George Bush and I'm picking up painting".
The NFL player-turned-actor, as it turns out, is also a real design buff–a passion that stretches back to his college education in graphic design. His trip to Milan was as a patron to designer Ini Archibong, with whom he struck up a mentorship over a decade ago. Last year, Crews cofounded a design label along with fashion designer Nana Boateng, Amen&Amen, for which Archibong’s work was the debut collection.
Now, Crews’s design credentials are expanding beyond his supporting role. With a new furniture collection produced by Bernhardt Design, released just in time for NYCxDesign this week, he is an emerging designer in his own right. Inspired by ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics, the pieces play on organic forms like lily pads and the smooth stones of the Nile River.
I'm still a little dubious how much of a hand he actually had, but it sounds like the real deal. And these are actually signed by him, so, unless he signed other people's work (which I guess he could get away with since he's rich, but I doubt he would, doesn't seem like his personality at all), I think he's legit getting into design. Awesome.
Man, this guy is a good role model honestly. First he is athletic, then he is funny, then you find out he is a talented artist, now he is designing actually nice furniture...
He seems like a guy with lots of ambition.
