remake is obviously better but may need a little tuning.
Good idea and pretty well done for the most part. I'm just missing the random characters that you left out and heavy not running out of bullets before dying. Soldiers landing at the end should be without the sticky bombs. I have no idea how hard it is to do the end sequence but the last soldier dying from fall damage is just a classic scene for me. Also some of the original camera angles are slightly better. Keep up the good work. EDIT: Someone needs to add those class descriptions.
Damn good remake.

The spy sequence could've benefited from better choreographing, if you had it all from the spy's POV up until the backstab.
Where. The fuck. Is Pyro?

Pyro's death is missing, which was one of my favorite parts of the original. Same with the Spy taunting instead of giving that sort of glance he gives in the original. Really good though. Better than I could make.
the pyro cut was made because suiciding in the in-game recorder always makes a ragdoll spawn after a character's death the same exact way... and that usually involves arms through the torso and the entire body being forced backwards (???????). in a scene where the dying character is not very close to the camera it's not a very big deal. however in the case of that specific shot, itd be obvious. you can even see it in the soldiers. animating them to not clip through themselves and do The Twist upon death was hell. i didn't really feel like i could, confidently, animate a dying pyro very well at that point, so instead of the video suffering from a very obvious poor animation, i just left it out.
