From the Egyptian article:
Mr. Mubarak finished his address by saying that he intends to ask the government to resign and will presumably appoint new ministers to run the country. He showed no sign of relenting or resigning himself.
Yeah. That's helping.
Well, he's probably going to get assassinated then. With the entire country in revolt, somethings bound to happen.
http://english.aljazeera.net/watch_now/ I FUCKING LOVE WATCHING VIOLENCE IN THE COMFORT OF MY HOME
I can't wait for it to be in 3D!!
I'm amazed how few people know this is going on right now, it's kind of upsetting.
The developments in Egypt are very interesting, and extremely important to the future of the region. Man shot in Egypt protest: Also, Lebanon is a completely different case of Tunisia, Yemen and Egypt. The reason for the protests in Lebanon is that the largely Shiite, Parliament has decided on forcing Al Hariri to resign. Instead, a Hizballah supporter and backer was elected as president.
This is starting to be difficult to watch
This is starting to be difficult to watch
Are you saying you're bored or that it's making you sick? Because earlier I saw a guy get hit by a truck on the live feed.
Maybe the middle east won't be such a shit place if these guys do it right.
Jordon, the UAE and Kuwait are fine places. Lebanon was a wonderful place before the civil war.
Jordon, the UAE and Kuwait are fine places. Lebanon was a wonderful place before the civil war.
To be fair, everywhere is usually a fine place before a civil war.
Jordon, the UAE and Kuwait are fine places. Lebanon was a wonderful place before the civil war.
Yeah the UAE is great as long as you're rich and can ignore the large semi-slave underclass.
Jordon, the UAE and Kuwait are fine places. Lebanon was a wonderful place before the civil war.
The UAE and Kuwait are not fine; They may be rich, but the status of the poor and workers is horrible. ninja'd
Maybe the middle east won't be such a shit place if these guys do it right.
Pretty sure they won't do it right.
Pretty sure they won't do it right.
It usually takes a proper democracy either a bloody revolution or a long drawn out process to be created. We can only hope.
Let's hope they replace the bad dictator with a good dictator.
Why is this not being stressed more? This is pretty goddamn important.
Is it possible somebody could please do a recap over what's going on so far in Egypt? It's getting kinda hard to follow :/
because any western countries don't want to take sides. if they sided with 1 side and that side lost, they'd have troubles gaining back relations with the other side to continue their precious oil shipping
because any western countries don't want to take sides. if they sided with 1 side and that side lost, they'd have troubles gaining back relations with the other side to continue their precious oil shipping
This is why we should of been doing our own drilling.
This is why we should of been doing our own drilling.
BP
This is why we should of been doing our own drilling.
Gotta use up other peoples resources before we tap our own. I hope these revolutions domino throughout the middle east and africa.
Let's hope they replace the bad dictator with a good dictator.
Probably the only thing we can hope for.
Please?
Oh crap, where are my manners :v:
Now's the chance to make one of the most violent areas in the world semi-peaceful again.
Ew, think of all the mess.
Are you saying you're bored or that it's making you sick? Because earlier I saw a guy get hit by a truck on the live feed.
Yeah, I saw that on CNN too. He just clipped the corner though, seemed alright. He didn't get to throw his rock. :saddowns:
