Justin Bieber tested positive for marijuana and the anti-anxiety drug Xanax after his arrest in South Florida, a preliminary toxicology report has revealed.
The report released on Thursday did not show any other illicit drugs in the pop star's system.
The 19-year-old singer was arrested last week in Miami Beach on charges of driving under the influence, resisting arrest and having an expired driver's licence.
Police said Bieber admitted to smoking marijuana, drinking and taking a prescription medication.
lol
Sorry Canada, you're gonna have to take one for the team. Send him to some Newfies.
Leave him on Belle Isle. If you didn't know, it's a uninhabited island near Newfoundland & Labrador.
or, you know, just stick him in a padded cell and force him to listen to his own shitty music.
So they lied when they said he had been drinking?
He really did become a trainwreck. I really do feel sorry for the guy. From what I've seen he was a nice kid before becoming famous
So they lied when they said he had been drinking?
No, it was the alcohol level associated with drinking 1 beer pretty much; so it wasn't considered very serious

I don't feel sorry for him. The "oh he was a celebrity child" excuse can only go so far. He's still a thinking, independent human being capable of decision making.

Not necessarily rooting for the guy, but the weed isn't a big deal.

But the alcohol mixed with the xanax would very likely have had an effect
Can somebody explain what's wrong with him doing marijuana and xanax? I'm sure he has a lot of stress being a celebrity so it makes sense he'd be doing those. Not like he's smoking crack and drunkenly running around the city yelling at people in a Jamaican accent.
Hey man, you break it you buy it. We didnt make em this way

i really need to keep my expectations in check

I am honestly surprised weed and Xanax was everything. I would have expected worse.

Abusing xanax is a deadly habit. Also, he was driving.
But the alcohol mixed with the xanax would very likely have had an effect
Maybe that's why he was so fast to say "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING" to the cop that pulled him over :v:
bieber apparently has a great taste for an exquisite drink aptly named codeine sizzurp

I instantly thought AIDS
Abusing xanax is a deadly habit. Also, he was driving.
Xanax is so popular here in SoCal it's amazing how easy it is to get, and also amazing to watch people wreck their shit by getting barred out and driving / mixing with other substances.
Abusing xanax is a deadly habit. Also, he was driving.
Yeah but you don't know how much he did or if he's really abusing it at all. Xanax is a prescription drug, and its not nearly as imparing as alcohol. It's understandable to be driving while taking prescription drugs, not so understandable to be driving drunk.
Abusing xanax is a deadly habit. Also, he was driving.
Abusing? He has a prescription for xanax, go read something about all this controversy before you talk.
Abusing? He has a prescription for xanax, go read something about all this controversy before you talk.
He was stating facts. 'Abusing Xanax is a deadly habit' --Fact 'He was driving' --Fact.
also tested positive for terrible
nice one dude
He was stating facts. 'Abusing Xanax is a deadly habit' --Fact 'He was driving' --Fact.
Fact or not, the statement is neither here nor there. It's legal to drive on prescribed Benzodiazepines as long as they are used as recommended by a doctor.
Of course it isn't impossible to abuse a prescription.
WEED NEEDLES?????????

just because marijuana isnt a horrible drug doesnt mean its legal, he still broke the law
As much as I dislike Bieber, there is no reason to make weed the bad thing here.
