Exactly because of this.
I hate sex offenders are much as the next guy (I used to deal with them in Max-Security and they're absolutely disgusting. I'm not even going to go in to detail some of the shit they talked about). But they have rights just like we do and they need to go though the system properly so they can be tracked and kept under constant watch. If someone goes out and takes justice in to their own hands it basically fucks the community because they'll get away with what they've done (if the live) and they'll never be tracked or monitored so they're basically free to hide and go back to what they did before.
As for the video, i got great respect for the people who volunteer to do this. They really have to deal with some disgusting stuff.
