POLITICO ANAYLSIS: Donald Trump not actually expanding GOP.
Donald Trump likes to say he has created a political movement that has drawn “millions and millions” of new voters into the Republican Party. “It’s the biggest thing happening in politics,” Donald Trump has said. “All over the world, they’re talking about it,” he's bragged.
While Donald Trump’s insurgent candidacy has spurred record-setting Republican primary turnout in state after state, the early statistics show that the vast majority of those voters aren’t actually new to voting or to the Republican Party, but rather they are reliable past voters in general elections. They are only casting ballots in a Republican primary for the first time.

The new caucusgoers, in other words, are likely to vote in November anyway.
TL:DR: Donald Trump's assertion that he has caused more people to the GOP than ever before is untrue. He only cause increased turnout in the Primaries. I also bet Some of the increased GOP turnout was against him.

Looking at the distribution of Republican voting, the vast majority of the party voted against him. It's just that they chose different flavors of "not Trump" to vote for, resulting in his minority becoming a majority.
Very few people actually vote in the primaries compared to the general election.
Both Trump and Sanders have made people more interested in politics than ever before.
You will see this in the general election. Many people who haven't registered with a party or voted in the primaries will be voting for Trump.

The vast majority of Anti-Trump voters flocked to Kasich, which you can see from him having 2.9 million votes outside of Ohio despite literally nobody knowing who the fuck he is.
Most of Cruz's support comes from batshit insane christians who vote for him because he's a batshit insane christian who is worst than Hitler; And is almost unanimously hated by the Republican party, and only got his office on the Tea Party ticket which was another batshit insane movement.
who is worst than Hitler
