A cartoonist has published videos on YouTube that parody police having sex on duty, getting promoted without deserving it, etc. And because of this, the prosecutor in Renton, WA is trying to send this cartoonist to jail because the parody situations closely match actual incidents they have on file.

The guy makes up outrageous parodies of what happens in a Police Department, then the Police try to jail him because it's actually true? Sounds like something out of a comedy.
the reason that the renton police are after this guy is because the cartoonist is obviously a member of the renton pd. they want to uncover him and turn him into a pariah, whether they have a legal case or not

This country is turning into a fucking totalitarian state.
He's not being investigated for mockery, he's being investigated because his cartoons are suspiciously similar to actual occurrences of fraud and bribery within the police department.
I just don't see how scandals like this are grounds for such in-depth investigations. Are they going to nab him for being an accessory to adultery or something? Ridiculous either way.
