Male artists dominate a listeners' poll to find BBC Radio 6 Music's top 100 tracks of the past 10 years.
Coldplay top the list with their 2003 track Clocks, ahead of Arctic Monkeys' I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor and Elbow's One Day Like This.
More than 100,000 votes were cast in the poll which looks back over the 10 years since the station began in 2002.
Theme song of LMAO pics.
Coldplay has better songs. Clocks is pretty good though.
I present: the greatest hit of the past 10 years:

I like living in technicolor more then clocks but its a pretty good song though.
I like clocks
I can't quite say I've ever listened to a Coldplay song; or if I have, I wouldn't know the song by name.
Am I missing out on anything?

Most people hate Coldplay.
But secretly it's a love/hate relationship.
They're a very subpar band, but there is always that 1 or 2 songs that you just cry every time to.

So I guess no, you're not missing out on very much.

I'd say there's like five songs by them that are absolutely excellent but most people seem to dislike the band and it's mostly love/hate, nothing in between
"Clocks"
Oh, that song.
It sounds like a song I would listen to on Youtube if I'm in the mood, but I wouldn't put it in my library.
I assume the rest of their songs are like that.

Don't even bring them into this.
Didn't Coldplay also get in trouble for using background music that was similar to another song in their music "Viva La Vida"?

pretty much, I've heard the later albums are more energetic though
Parachutes is a sick album.
Don't even bring them into this.
Muse is the kind of band you listen to if you want to be hip with the kids, but don't want to listen to what kids actually listen to.

I disagree, Muse is my third favourite band after Queen and David Bowie.

This has become literally my favorite song ever. I have no fucking idea why.

I'm not saying Muse is a bad band, in fact, my favourite band has certain songs that are inspired by Muse. I'm just poking fun at its fanbase :v:
the biggest commercial radio station here i norway had a similar thing.
"all-time favorites". the listeners would vote songs 1-10 as they played.
Metallica with Nothing Really Matters came out on top of the list :/

I don't know, that song doesn't sound very Muse-like, in fact I didn't really like the entire album, with the exception of 4-5 songs.
Like seriously, "Unsustainable" is the worst thing I've ever heard by them.

Pretty good band, would love to see them try something different though.
I prefer Yellow over Clocks though.

I don't like Muse's music out of my personal taste, but I love this song. It's just really well done and I want them to experiment with electronic music more.
as someone who loves coldplay, best albums in order (opinion tho)
X&Y
A Rush Of Blood To The Head
Mylo Xyloto
Parachutes
Viva la Vida

I like clocks a lot but I think Yellow is kind of overrated, i think The Scientist is just a better Yellow imho
