Bear with me here Jim actually has something to say in this episode that isn't just Overwatch porn, like the title of the episode may suggest. Actual episode starts at 1:26, and the part right before the porn starts at 6:35.
I'm honestly so confused on how Overwatch gets a free pass on having hot chicks in it while other games don't just because they are not all white.
cuz dat ass they all got dat ass
mei best butt
ಠ_ಠ yup. I knew this was going to happen sooner or later. Even though i play TF2, i knew the overwatch fans are going to get sexual.
I'm honestly so confused on how Overwatch gets a free pass on having hot chicks in it while other games don't just because they are not all white.
I've actually yet to see anyone complain about hot chicks in ANY video game, you make it sound like EVERYONE is in outrage about every woman in every video game ever like the witcher, when in reality its a tiny minority that complain. I don't know what you mean by free pass though? Do you want every game with a remotely attractive female character in it to be boycotted? But. To be honest. Does sexuality stuff really matter that much? Just saying.
But. To be honest. Does sexuality stuff really matter that much? Just saying.
You can make the argument that gender stereotypes are reinforced by over-sexualised characters for sure and it definitely can have an impact, whether it does or not comes down to the individual
where is team fortress 2's credit in this video? he mentions LoL having a lot to do with why there's this "resurgence" in cartoony shooters with unique characters and artstyle, but i could easily apply tf2 to the first 4 minutes (-the intro segment) to the video. i get that tf2 is *maybe* past its prime but it has a memorable set of characters and themes that could've easily contributed to the resurgence of these games, yet there's no credit to it. i may be channeling my inner fanboyism but the game took a good part of my gaming career and i could easily see it contributing to the points he made.
Just google 'tf2 porn' lmao
pretty much. there's plenty of tf2 porn and artwork as we speak.
Just google 'tf2 porn' lmao
5 Minutes that i wished i'd never wasted

That Roadhog bit got me better than it should have. Also Blizzard is far far too late to stop the OW porn train or even put breaks on it. If people want porn of something it's gonna be made wether they like it or not.
LoL is like 10000x more popular than TF2 ever was though
maybe it is, but tf2 was released before league. that and league is a MOBA, which is different from TF2 and Overwatch to a certain extent. no matter the case he should've credited TF2.
There are a ton of Rule 34 content on other video game characters, so why is Overwatch suddenly the exception?
Because Blizzard is acting like how Ken Levine acted when he heard about Elizabeth getting pornified like nuts.
He makes a good point about people who have seen more porn of it than the actual game, I for one didn't know it was ps4 exclusive.
He makes a good point about people who have seen more porn of it than the actual game, I for one didn't know it was ps4 exclusive.
But it's not?
But it's not?
I probably should have figured he was joking about that. Whatever, point still stands.
Because Blizzard is acting like how Ken Levine acted when he heard about Elizabeth getting pornified like nuts.
Ken Levine never DMCA'd anything though
Also Blizzard is far far too late to stop the OW porn train or even put breaks on it.
Probably not even their intention. Seems to me like they're drawing attention to their game in a round about way like "please don't make porn of our attractive characters in this amazing new game". Like a reverse Streisand effect.
They make porn for everything, every game you can think of probably has porn for it, it's just that "high quality" pornography is easier to obtain now due to things like SFM being free, why are we suddenly getting all these videos about something that's been a thing for a fucking LONG ass time and isn't really that much of a problem.
I remember when Mass Effect came out everyone including Fox News wouldn't shut up about "blue alien ass", "Smurf Ass", or the controversial "sex simulator" scandal. This is a phase. It'll probably be gone within 3 months.
The same group of people who Hate Bayonetta are praising Overwatch.
Like who?
I always felt that it'd be a sign of success to have porn drawn of something you made. Like if there was Rule 34 of a game I made, I'd feel like I finally made it.
pounding it
pounding it
POUNDING IT
Remember when Ken Levine told the Internet to stop sexualizing Elizabeth?
I probably should have figured he was joking about that. Whatever, point still stands.
Yeah he was giving crap to all the PC-elitists who have been shitting on him for playing it on PS4 :v:
