Terrible game isnt worth the $60 price tag. Its MW2 with some different models, sounds, and maps.
Oh my god shut up
No you. Seriously Activision and companies like them can go off and take it in the ass. I dont buy their games, they may be fun, but I dont buy or play them because I hate their business practices. Had they of given proper modding tools all of this shit that people are creaming their pants over could have been done easily by the community. Modern Warfare, World at War, MW2, and Black Ops are all pretty much the exact same game. Different maps, some changed models, but essentially the same damn game rebranded and resold for $60. I have no problem with changing shit in a game, I do however have a problem when they charge full price for something that isnt worth it. Activision and Treyarch can piss off with their bullshit console ports, console pricing, and DLC nonsense.
Oh look it's black ops again, same gameplay as MW2, same same same. They're just pumping out games for money now.
This zombie mod looks fun to play with friends.
60€ for this? No. I like it how a lot of the CoD players measure skill by prestige.
haha wow they really sell their games for $60 and people buy them?
They are fun. Games are made to have fun, not to appease sperglords like the above few posters.
shame it's actually less than $60. stop quoting the steam price, you can get it retail for a lot less.
I got it for 40$ at retail and I never had issues with multiplayer. Campaign is completely different, and plays completely different. Multiplayer is completely different. Holy christ, I hate all those sperglords who hate games because they don't want other people to have fun.
Terrible game isnt worth the $60 price tag. Its MW2 with some different models, sounds, and maps.
it's not that bad- even if it isn't particularly amazing quit being an autistic retard.

Just play the game and enjoy it instead of looking for reasons to bash it. I'd like to see some legitimate reasons for why people dislike this game. Sure it's "buggy" and "full of noobs" but it's easy as hell to ignore it and have a good time playing. The key is to not take your gaming experience seriously. It's a game. Facepunch has some unknown grudge against the CoD series and it's annoying. And everyone that's complaining about the $60 hasn't even tried. Newegg has it for $50/free shipping.
The problem is that allowing people to put less content and keep the same prices encourages companies to fuck you over even more in the future.
I have Black Ops, and, in my opinion, its great. Coming from a guy who hated Mw2 with all his heart.
hey guys stop having fun [editline]asdf[/editline] I'm serious guys stop having fun god
This is World at War, not Black Ops?

While it is basically MW2 with some changes, the singleplayer was great and the multiplayer is better then MW2. I would have liked more weapons though.
Have you actually played the game?
Why yes.
Why yes.
How is it the same game if it has differant maps, models, story, weapons and everything else and has an equal amount (or more) content then the previous games? The only thing similiar is the engine and the name.
They've used ideas in this game that infinity ward could never have come up with, story is genius, yet somewhat falters as to where it fits in with the CoD arc of story-telling, the multi-player is not inhabited by camping quickscopers / noscopers anymore, due to the optimization and realization of the snipers and the kill-streaks awarded to combat these idiots, and as well as the perks they also have been optimized to help in the aid of killing those MW2 players who think they can survive using run and gun MW2 tactics. I like playing this game with my friends, especially the zombie game-mode, it's fun as hell to play with friends, see how long we can survive, and then put our well-earned money into a friendly wager match. Multi-player is full of experienced players, as well as those just joining CoD on it's epic journey, so everyone has a chance to show off, and learn from others, the community is a friendly environment depending on who you're dealing with and what type of game you are in, with a Wager match, you will usually find someone competitive, but not someone who hates losing, and you will definitely find a group of people who are just their having fun. So, to sum up, either you really don't get along with the community in the game, or you just have some retarded grudge against Treyarch / the CoD franchise itself, hell I bet none of you have ever played the first two CoD's, they were the good times when the adults took the game with social meaning instead of these 12 year olds who think they're the big I AM, thanks to Activision, don't blame Infinity Ward, they're a damn good developer, and so are Treyarch.

The zombie part is probably what keeps me away from it. For fucks sake activision, just make a seperate zombie game. Zombie games feels like a total gimmick.
What the fuck guys, Why always diss the COD series, It;s the same formula just like all you're beloved games such as the battlefield series and CSS, when you look at it. I thoroughly enjoyed this game and found it better than MW2.

Just one bad game is enough to have a player lose their trust in a company. I don't blame them.
Its not the same as mw2, Black ops runs on the waw engine
I don't have Blops, but I've played it for a few hours at a friend's house. It honestly feels like the best CoD since the first Modern Warfare.
