Zimmerman Will Walk - General

Protesters threatening to riot, news stations talking nonstop about the trial, everyone seems to want Zimmerman to be locked up! However from what I know the defense has had a lead on this court case ever since it started. All I have to say is that it looks like he will walk. What do you think? P.S. I know this topic has been brought up before but doing a quick search through google I saw the last activity was from a couple days ago. Zimmerman needs to be put UNDER the jail.

Maybe I am ignorant but I think that there won't be any riots. It's all scaremongering.

Most of the people that want Zimmerman locked up are racially motivated, isn't that fucked up?

The prosecution needs to prove both murder and disprove self defense beyond a reasonable doubt. They have very little evidence for either yet. I predict Zimmerman will walk.

Everybody who is rooting for Zimmerman to be locked up, don't know shit about the trial, or about what happened. They just see it as: White guy killed black guy. LOCK UP THE WHITE GUY. So annoying.

I run a George Zimmerman is Innocent page on facebook and I've noticed that all the hatemail I get is all african americans who know nothing about the case. They say "FUCK ALL OF YOU WHITE PEOPLE" and other very racist things.

There are people who have been following the case since it was first brought up. Then there are others that are just going off the racial backdrop of what happened. I don't know the results, but if Zimmerman walks, I'm sure those types of people that I said above, might actually try something. It's frightening that we all hold onto a racial construct that a black man got shot by Zimmerman, the white devil(when he's not entirely white, I believe?), and they're going wild over it. I saw a screencap of twitter feeds that had people saying they were going looting, or rioting if Zimmerman walked. But with the trial going the way it is? I think he's definitely going to walk an innocent man.

From day one there hasn't been any evidence. Literally the ENTIRE motivation to convict Zimmerman of murder has been based on racism.

While they may not have intended for the story to blow up this large, the media(and by 'media' I mean mainly NBC, who edited photos of Zimmerman and his 911 call to make him seem like a racist) did without a doubt try to purposely cause racial tension.

I'm not saying one side is more guilty than the other (in regards to the media,) it's just disgusting how the media is a giant knot of cocks jerking each other off. In the end, there are a lot of questions only Zimmerman knows the answer to. We can not be sure if he's a racist. We can not be sure Martin started the scuffle. All we can conclude is that under Florida law, Zimmerman is not guilty.

Cases like that don't get as much media attention. CNN and Fox news in particular love race baiting.

I can't see him being convicted of a murder charge, he certainly fucked up but probably not to the degree that it was murder
