I can take him.
this kid is going to have mad cardio when he grows up
Only question I have is whether the kid is game for it and not being ''forced'' unkownly.
I'm not impressed until he learns the Dempsey Roll.

Do they have him fight other 5 year olds? Is there a boxing league for 5 year olds? Does he participate in kid boxing, cockfights? I crave knowledge.

I don't see anything wrong with teaching kids to fight, at least he will be able to stand up to bullies when he gets older, not to mention the positive impact on health and good muscle development.
Isn't intense training like that when you're that young bad for your growth?
This kid is gonna be alpha as fuck
Isn't intense training like that when you're that young bad for your growth?
If I recall correctly, it's mainly weightlifting you don't want to do when you are young. Cardio is fine.
If I recall correctly, it's mainly weightlifting you don't want to do when you are young. Cardio is fine.
Kids can do strength training - Obviously important to stress safety and proper form. It isn't like they're body building or doing competitions.
Isn't intense training like that when you're that young bad for your growth?
Only if you make them lift, fucks with their bones. This kinda training, nope.
Only if you make them lift, fucks with their bones. This kinda training, nope.
Not true, Working out/strength training if done properly (even with children) can decrease the likelyhood of sport related injuries later on in life. Along with that it will increase joint health and movement, stronger bones and more bone density. As long as the kid isn't being over-worked and gets a proper diet/nutrition to match his/her current lifestyle they'll be fine. And we're talking about basic strength training - basic machines, free weights, resistance bands, etc. Not bodybuilding, powerlifting, etc.
